1. If I never had to get a filling again, it would be too soon. I learned last time that the severe anxiety I experience during the filling process seems to be a direct result of the Novocaine. Seriously. I was sitting in the chair, doing just fine, then they came in and numbed me and 5 minutes later my heart was pounding through my chest and I wanted to throw up I felt so anxious.
2. It's a long one, but here goes. It takes the average teenage student 20-40 repetitions of a piece of information to fully learn it. A very bright student might get it in 10-15 repetitions. A student with a learning disability might need 60-80 repetitions. A student with a significant cognitive disability (the kids I work with) takes around 1400 repetitions of a piece of information before they can learn it.
3. I honestly have no idea. I've been pondering this for several minutes now.
1. Fold socks. I have unnecessary anxiety with matching and folding socks. I'm sweating bullets that there will be none left when I done. If there is a left over I feel defeated.
2. A spider makes 7 different types of threads. They use a combination of them when spinning a web.
3. When I went in for my saline ultrasound I saw an RE who I never met and who clearly didn't read my chart. When the test was done, she peaked at my ovaries and asked why I was here. She said I had beautiful ovaries. It gave me a confidence boost going into my FET.
1. If I never had to iron again, it would be too soon!!! I hate doing the ironing so much.
2. What's the most interesting fact you know? Potatoes are actually toxic. They are part of the nightshade family, and the solanine in them is poisonous to humans. It causes headaches and cramps. So if we only discovered them now, we wouldn't eat them.
3. What's the weirdest compliment you've ever received? I've been told I have wonderful iron levels every time my blood has been tested. That's the only thing I can think of right now.
