I'm going to cross post this, but my Medela pump has died. Im looking at the Medela Pump in Style Advanced and Medela Freestyle. The one that died is the Pump in Style Advanced, which is 7 years old.... Worked great, but wondering if Freestyle is worth the added price point. Using it to stockpile when I go back to work & will use for pumping at work. Any opinions appreciated! Thanks!
I love my Freestyle but some say that the PISA has better suction. If you are an EPer or are if you are going to be pumping a long time, the added convenience of the Freestyle might be worth it to you as it was for me. I avoided walking around while pumping or anything like that but it was nice to be able to pump from the car without being plugged in somewhere or sit in the middle of the bed and pump without having to worry if I moved around.
I have the Spectra S2. Got it for $140 on Amazon, it's like the S1 that PP mentioned only that it doesn't have an internal battery. But it's super quiet, great suction, and I love the night light so I don't have to turn everything on during my late night pump.

I bought the philips avent double pump and regret it. 8 weeks and it's already lost some noticeable power. I didn't want the hassle of changing the milk from the medela bottles to the avent ones but given the choice again I'd go for the freestyle or Spectra S2.
