Nothing much for me today. We're expecting snow so DD and I may not leave the house.

I was extremely close to going to the hospital yesterday. Contractions close together and bad. But they stopped when we got in the car.

First, a commendation: Dear elephantsonpatrol -- thank you for a funny and spot-on GBCB. I had to add my two cents before logging off of TB.

Spam: 37 week appointment today. And writing that, I just realized I'm now at full term. Holy crap. Included with the appointment is a BPP since I'm over 35. After that, I'm heading home and getting my nails, toes, and eyebrows done.

Got my GBS results back - negative, woohoo!

I was worried about testing positive because of my fast labor with DS. MW said antibiotics would need 4 hours to be effective and my labor with him was less than 2. One less thing to worry about I guess.

Currently eating a blueberry bagel with my coffee. One happy girl right here.

Went in for my 37wk appointment yesterday. My OB decided to have another growth scan on Thursday to see if Sawyer is still on the high end of the charts. At 34wks he was in the 80th percentile. I know the scans can be very inaccurate at this stage but they had estimated him to be 8-10lbs if he makes it to his due date. I'm hoping he's closer to 8 than 10. That does not sound fun to me as a FTM.

I brought in donuts and cookies for the office today as a thank you for the baby gifts on Monday.

Everyone keeps saying "gee thanks, I'm on a diet, but I'll guess I'll eat some anyway!"

Just be nice to the pregnant lady and eat your dang cookie. If not, leave it there and I'll be sure to eat it myself!

Happy Hump Day everyone! I am actually kinda grumpy today--we have two different auditors in our office this week, and I just don't feel like dealing with either of them. Plus I am feeling frumpy, but whatever. Snickerdoodle creamer in my coffee will hopefully make things better.

Also I am with lizjennings81--elephantsonpatrol, that was an awesome GBCB and I, too, had to throw in a final comment. But I am so done with TB.

Morning!

We are expecting snow here today too. I have my 36 week appointment at 1:00 so it looks like I'll be taking the tank of the car known as the Escalade. DH gassed it up last night ($1.82!!!) for me and I'm happy he did! I should also get my growth scan this week. At 22 weeks she was in the 99th percentile so I hope all is well...makes me nervous.

If it isn't snowing too hardcore when I'm done with my apopintment I'd also like to make today pedicure and eyebrow day. We shall see...

Last night I packed Fi's diaper bag for the hospital and DH got the car seat in the car... I'm going to need BIL to check it for us (he's a pro at this point) to make sure she isn't going to fly off the seat but it's good to know that we've got that out of the way!

Also, set up the PnP (using in place of a bassinet) last night and started my hospital bag as well... I was having some period like cramps last night so now I'm like, convinced I won't make it to 40 weeks... they may not mean anything but I guess better safe than sorry!

Good morning! I am home sick today. Bleh. I think its just a cold with maybe a tiny low grade fever but I feel like I have been run over by a bus. My inlaws took DD today so I can rest and DH is out getting us a new thermometer and egg mcmuffins. MmMM. I hope I can kick this soon because I would like to go get my nails and eyebrows done this weekend!

I also picked up my mirena yesterday. Holy giant box! It didn't fit in my purse and I had to sneak it in to my office and then I had to take it home hidden in a file folder.

Wow it has been a very long time since i have posted.
DH is quarantined downstairs with the flu. Do you think its possible to attach something to the dog so I don't have to go down there?

Otherwise work is boring and I'm ready to throw in the towel.

Not much to report over here today. This week has been terrible for me, once about 7pm hits, I am a total mess. Yesterday it started earlier at about 1pm and lasted all thru the night. Nothing is timeable, and it isn't too terribly painful... So, I just sit and wait I guess.

I had plans to go to the bank and mall walk today but it snowed overnight and the roads by our house aren't cleared yet. Looks like it'll be an afternoon trip if anything!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to spend the day playing Pokemon Omega Ruby and watching Friends on Netflix. Part of me feels a little strange, playing Pokemon while only a couple weeks away from being someone's mother. I remember when Red and Blue came out when I was in 6th grade. Sheesh!

I'm really happy to know that I am not the only one who gives herself treats after appointments!!   There's a Starbucks down the block from my OB and I frequently treat myself to a drink afterwards.

We looked at a townhouse/condo last night. It's not big but the price is right and the location is perfect--DH's commute would be cut way down regardless of which hospital he's placed at next year and it's got plenty of parks/trails/eateries/stores walkable from the front door (and, more importantly, in a safe area). Fingers crossed that things get lined up today!

MIL has decided she wants to come visit in a couple weeks to "help." Except she can't afford a hotel and said "well, I'll just stay with you guys." As soon as we get home from the hospital. My poor H is stuck between a rock and a hard place because he wants to see his mom (which I do not blame one bit) but he doesn't want her staying with us. As if I'm not stressed out enough with everything coming.

So I guess all that bragging about my massage yesterday is coming back to bite me in the ass...quite literally. My muscles are so sore I feel like I'm bruised all over especially the lower back, hips and butt. It was jard to sleep last night and I feel like shit now. Boo! Should have gone to the chiro.
