We wound up driving to my mom's in MD last night after LO's appointment. It was her birthday and she was all alone because her husband's brother is in the hospital. It made her very happy to get to squeeze on LO. (I cropped her out.)
Edit to say I wanted to be with her on her bday anyway, of course! But we had made plans for today instead of yesterday.
happyfeet9, does your LO mind the sunglasses? Mine doesn't hate them, but doesn't like having them on much. I may try a different pair/shape.
Mine isn't a fan yet, either!
Is he generally a little sensitive? Mine really is. He's getting a bit better, but still easily overstimulated and sensitive to things like the sunglasses.
I snuck out of bed this morning without her waking up. Proceeded to sneak around the house like I was a thief in her home, because she slept in past 9!

My LO is very sensitive to all things. He doesn't love them, but I think he tolerates them more than the bright sunlight on our walks. I put them on once we get outside and take them off as soon as we're back indoors.
This is the third pair I've purchased and the first pair he has actually left on, so maybe it's worth trying a couple of different shapes? They're from Children's Place and have the rubberized ends, the earpiece doesn't curve behind his ear which I think he prefers. Only $2.50 with a coupon so I'm happy they're working so far.
Gizmo thinks my comfy lazy boy in LO's bedroom was put there for him. He looked so blissful I couldn't bear to kick him out of it to pump so I stood the whole time.
