So I'm pretty lazy/busy. I know none of you can understand ;-)
I am looking to make some sort of pastry. Anyone got any good recipes to share for lactation goodies?
Also, could I just make a box of regular brownies and throw the brewers yeast and the other stuff (what the hell is it called...)? Or do recipes need to be specifically for lactation?
I'm also wondering about those "oatmeal bars" that you see on pinterest. Like to make a pan of them and cut them as opposed to making individual cookies. Could I just throw the lactation ingredients into that?
Bringing them to the hospital! That's brilliant! My milk took a super long time to come in and it was a month before we could stop supplementing so I was trying to think of ways to get my milk to come in sooner for next time. I would think that pumping before birth would be a bad idea since messing with your nipples can bring on the contractions but I wasn't coming up with too much more information... Getting started with the fenugreek and lactation cookies right away is a great idea!

Baking is so much work. I get frustrated by all the measurement tool that are dirty after making baked goods. When I feel like I need to produce more milk, I make a sandwich, drink some water, or enjoy a well timed/paced beer. But kudos for baking.

Oh man, ladies. I finally got my brewer's yeast so I made the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They are seriously delicious. I think I could eat a whole dozen in one sitting (and I made them kind of big).
