I read some urban fantasy series and those can be rather smutty (just with vampires or werewolves or other supernaturally creatures!!) so I normally hide them when I read them.
Food wise...I eat everything bad for you and love it all. We are actually having a junk food for dinner night tonight and I will be having chips and dip.
Im Harry Potter OBSESSED!! That's not my guilty pleasure, I just had to let it be known
My guilty pleasure would probably be tween books/movies. I've read the Hunger Games and Divergent series and seen the movies in the theaters of course. I've watched all the twilight films but never read the books. I attempted to read them but I wanted to Bella to throw herself off a bridge.
I would say those are also my guilty pleasure. Have you read the Books of Ember, or The Uglies, or the Chaos Walking books? They are by no means as good as the Hunger Games or the Divergent series. But they were entertaining and quick reads.

I haven't read those books but I'm always open to guilty pleasure suggestions, I'll have to check them out!
Cookies. I don't remember the last day I went without eating a cookie. I was bummed to find I didn't have anymore cookies yesterday so I went for a piece of fruit. Turns out my mom hid a cookie in my fruit basket! Yesssss.
Oh yes to the mac and cheese, but not even the good, homemade kind. Give me all the Kraft! Homemade mashed potatoes, though
Lol no home made here either give me Kraft, presidents choice, no name whatever I'll eat it , but yes I also need real potatoes not the boxed stuff.
Clearly you have not had my homemade Mac & cheese I add goat cheese to make it extra creamy...yum. I do love the boxed stuff too. Also I look like leftover Mac&cheese better than fresh. Now I want Mac&cheese.

I totally use Sling...so easy and convenient! We just watch it through the Roku. I don't have any details about how to sign up, though, as my BF did all of that, but I guess they have a deal that if you pay for 3 months in advance, they will send you a free Roku. I, too, am obsessed with HGTV. What's bad about that, though, is that I will binge watch it and then get a wild hair and start ripping up flooring in the bathroom. Hmm, this ceramic tile has to go.... And speaking of HGTV, (this should probably go in UO)WTF is up with everyone's obsession with the barn doors??? Am I the only person who thinks they are unsightly?
Okay, back on subject. My guilty pleasure is Married At First Sight. It's a show on A&E Tuesday nights...and I love it!

Ugh, I am so over barn doors. I had to stop watching property brothers after I saw 4 episodes in a row where they did a barn door. I don't mind them so much when Joanna on fixer upper uses them because it actually goes with her style. It bugs me when they are the only rustic element in an otherwise modern home. I am pretty confident our kids will make fun of the rustic home trend when they grow up.

To all the boxed mac and cheese lovers, I will make/share with you my many spruced up Annie's/Horizon/Kraft (in a real pinch) mac recipes. Not to brag on my "cooking" skillz but I'm pretty sure it's the reason DH married me...

I have a few tricks my broke self came up with..."tuna taco Mac and cheese" was among the favorites...lol
Boiling ramen and whisking an egg into it while it's boiling is my meal from when I was broke. It was like gourmet ramen. Tell me more about this tuna taco Mac and cheese.

Add a can of tuna and some taco seasoning. Frozen peas or broccoli if you feel too guilty about not eating a vegetable It is all of your food groups in a tacky, cheap way!
I want you Kraft mac 'n cheese ladies to know that you influenced my semi-sickly dinner. Boxed Kraft with sausage (homemade!), seasoned with fennel and an Italian herb blend. Klassy.
If you're ever wanting Kraft or whatever your box macaroni of choice (mine is Horizon) but you're thinking "Hmm I'd just really like it if my mac and cheese did more work to clog my arteries" this is the modification for you.
Swap out the regular milk for heavy cream when making the sauce (I always always always mix the sauce in the pot before I put the macaroni back in, coats it better), melt a handful or two of cheddar cheese in there, add some crisply made bacon, and voilà!
ETA MH would choose food over health any day, so he always asks me to save the hot bacon grease and he pours in on top of his portion.

Homemade sausage with Kraft? Ballsy.
Sounds delightful!
ETA: That might read as sarcastic. I seriously think it sounds delightful.
I felt like I didn't honor the sausage properly by putting any effort into the meal, but I was kind of impressed by my new feat of gourmet lazy.

Holy shite to the bacon grease on top! I think I felt some arterial clogging just reading that!

I usually try to shove a leafy green salad down his throat when he does this just so I don't feel as guilty by association.
