This is hard for me to write. I have a knot in my stomach from my anxiety about posting something. But I just had to say, I miss f14 damnit. I didn't know how alone I would feel without reading the boards. Gah! Sorry for getting weird. I hope great things are happening for all of you ladies. Those starting new jobs, I hope it is everything you wanted. Those struggling in your relationships, I wish you happiness and hug. I hope the babies are doing well and staying healthy.

Funny, I just tapped on this board to see if there was any activity and write something similar! I never participated because I was too nervous about making my info public. I've made a real effort to be active on the infertility board recently (we're trying for #2, and need the assistance of IVF), because I didn't realize how much I really relied on these boards in general, esp F14. If you're ever looking for a fresh face (I know, I know), or would be willing to let in "newbs", keep me in mind

Miss ya, F14. Hope you are all well!
I've been trying to participate on parenting more but holy crap, it moves so fast! They seem like awesome ladies though. I'm glad you found the infertility board. Is it helpful? I'm realizing how important it is to have a support system to survive motherhood. Good luck with IVF. I hope things go well for you!
Just wanted to say I feel the same! I didn't realize how even the little things helped. I don't even know what toys to buy without F14!!
I'm on preemies and I have been following GKU board since we've been trying for a second and that one is pretty intense too.
Anyways hope everyone is doing well!
appleoatmeal, capuleti, what have your LOs been up to? I can't believe how much my DS is just not a baby anymore! It's so sad and yet exciting at the same time. He is always getting into trouble, I feel like I am more exhausted now (at least physically) than when he was a newborn!
jense927 wr are doing well! I am loving this age so much more than newborn that's for sure. I, too, find myself pretty exhausted. That could be because my LO STILL doesn't sleep. I will say, I am terrified that we will never wean. I am confused how to even start. She won't drink cows milk. So I'm a little lost.
How are you doing? Sounds like your LO is all over the place with you chasing behind . How exciting that you're trying for number 2 soon! Good luck with that!

Oh that is rough with the sleep! I am not sure about weaning. DS has been FF since 5 months. It was a tough transition going from formula to milk and bottle to sippy at the same time for us though. I ended up doing one at a time. First switch to whole milk then attempt the sippy. I started at 12 months and he is finally at 16 months fully transitioned.
Yes he is an active guy! He is a bit behind developmentally and still not walking but he knows how to get around and he knows how to find trouble. At our house we are baby proofed on the first floor so he has free reign and trouble is limited but as soon as we go somewhere (Nanas, Aunties or friend's houses) forget it by the time we leave I am ready for bed!

Oh, going to other people's houses is the worst! I am so happy my mother-in-law baby proofed and lets my LO make a huge mess.
Luckily we are on sippys but only with water. I guess I'll keep offering hcm and hope she likes it eventually. ?

Thanks for the well wishes on #2 everyone! Treatment seems like it will be a different animal this time around with a little one to keep me busy (and a whole different schedule to work around!)
Our (gulp) almost 15 month-er is so, so busy! She doesn't stop moving during the day, and always has to have her hands full of something (lately it's usually the shoes and socks she's taken off her feet 20 seconds after I've put them on). We've also gone through a number of sippys, I find one I like, stock up on amazon, and then discover a reason not to like it (straw doesn't stay attached, kid figures out a way to break through it and dump out all the liquid...). I do really like the munchkin sippys that look like a real cup, if you haven't tried them yet!

I can relate to all of the bolded... so if nothing else, know that you're not alone!
appleoatmeal Good luck with IVF. I hope it goes well for you.
capuleti good to see you here! I hope things are well and you are eating lots of chipotle and panera I just night weaned and was only able to do it by having DH do wake ups. Otherwise, lo will want to nurse all night. Mama=milk. Could your H step in? My lo won't drink anything other than water by cup.
appleoatmeal I'm glad you've found a community on the infertility board. I hope ivf goes well and wish you all the luck!
jense927 GL trying for a second! I was just thinking how grown lo seems now. When did this happen??
I feel bad that I am just seeing this! I need to check this page more often. Hope everyone is doing well and always feel free to post here. Maybe I will lurk you lurkers
Thanks squirm! I am most definitely eating a lot of chipotle and Panera. Yum.
I'm so happy you were able to night wean! That is awesome. We currently bedshare so I'm not sure how that would work. We also only have one bedroom so that makes it difficult to transfer her to be on her own. I just want more sleep damnit! Maybe it's time to talk to mh and reevaluate.
capuleti hmm that is tough with lo sleeping in the same room. My bloodhound lo will smell the milk if I am in the same room and want to nurse all night. Might still be helpful to try having H do the wakeups. Lo still doesn't sttn (will she ever??) but she only gets up once now. I'll take it!
As far as milk in a sippy, I just don't do it. I used to offer and she wasn't having any of it. I just give her calcium rich foods like cheese and skip the milk. She only has water. Although she has recently shown some interest in those yogurt drink things!
