I don't think he's worn socks in weeks. I put them on him in the winter, but with the nicer weather I don't even bother. He always pulled them off anyway. My MIL has also commented often about his feet being cold, so now it is kind of a joke with my FIL to say that his feet are cold.

As far as shoes go, we ordered a pair of Pumas online mostly for fun but they are too small so we will be exchanging them, but as far as I'm concerned he will be mostly barefoot all summer.
He only wears socks when it's cold, or when his eczema on his lower legs gets bad and he wants to scratch. Then I put the fold-down socks on and pull them up to his knees. He has a pair of shoes to wear to a wedding this summer (because cute), and that's it.
DS only wears socks when it's cold. Or at night if his pajamas don't have footies. We live in Florida so it would be way to hot for him to wear socks all the time. Plus I think that's a perk of being a baby, you can be barefoot and it's no problem!
DS does have some shoes. But only wears them for special occasions. He has Sperrys so he wore those when we took pictures in sunday

I would keep socks on DD when she was smaller and it was freezing here all winter. Now she is constantly ripping them off and it is getting warm here now so nope I don't bother. I'm with @kait20122014, I put shoes on her but only for the cute factor, I mean come on are these adorable or what? link
DD rocks them BUT tries eating the shoe and laces, LOL

Those are SOOOOO CUTE! If they weren't $35 for shoes that she wouldn't keep on, I would totally get them! My DD likes to eat shoes too. She really loves getting into her sister's shoes which is almost always followed by a hilarious lecture from my 2 year old about how she has her own things and shouldn't take other people's things.
OMG how adorarable!! I love it!! Yes the price tag was ridiculous but I justified it by thinking I hardly get to buy DD anything because my mom and MIL are constantly buying her things so I said I would splurge and I did get them marked down to $26, LOL

I can get behind that reasoning. I mean with that combined with the mark down...completely justified I will still resist though since we are not splurging on anything at the moment. I probably will buy some things later this summer though because I also hardly ever get to buy her anything so I know the feeling. Hand-me-downs from DD1 and grandparents that love to shop pretty much give her more of a wardrobe than she'll ever be able to wear. As blessed as we are to have everything we need, I still really like to find and buy cute clothes and I feel like I'm missing out.
I know exactly what you mean! I don't mean to sound ungrateful but she has almost too much stuff sometimes that I literally feel like I need to dress her up everyday. I'm always worried she won't get to wear stuff and hate feeling like I can't buy her anything.

Now I'm second guessing the size I got, I originally ordered size 3, 6-9 months and they were huge, she has tiny feet! So got the 2 which was 3-6 month and they seemed a little big but my luck she will outgrow them in 2 weeks or something.

Baby socks always end up in the mouth so I don't usually bother. He does have a cute little pair of robeez he got as a gift so he wears them sometimes. He loves his toes so much that I can't keep them covered unless it's cold and he's in footed jammies.
I do have socks on her all the time though. But I don't have a reason for that. Just habit. I don't really like being barefoot, so I guess I assume she doesn't either?
