PetSquirrel : I actually HAVE alcohol wipes! ...one advantage of infertility (or being a drug addict)...having a pharmacy in my linen closet, stocked with alcohol wipes, syringes and needles... Gonna go sniff some alcohol...
Did it work? Did it work?
Yay for having a medicine cabinet that looks like a drug abusers! Mine looks like that. I regularly bring in a big box of sharps containers to the local hospital lab for free disposal. Of course, since I'm not their patient, I get the squinty eye.
Well, it worked but not in the way I thought it would... Rubbing alcohol for some reason made me even more nauseous and went and basically threw up what seemed like everything I've eaten in the last week...and THEN I felt better :-)
Ugh, I hate Estrace. I have no great remedies, but ginger ale is one of the best for settling my stomach. Or a warm Diet Coke in a pinch. But once I'm nauseated, there's no stopping it for me, generally speaking. I hope all goes well this evening and you feel better ASAP. (((Hugs)))
I legit was on the verge of posting about a different TMI problem I've been having...but I'll save that for another day.
Have you ruined your vagina...is that it? You can tell us HoH.

Ugh. Well, I guess at least you feel better. Have you tried those Sea Bands? They are supposed to help (though I have not tested them).

Estrace made me nauseous too- for almost exactly one hour. Nothing really helped except knowing that it would end approximately an hour later. Is yours constant?
How much longer are you on the evil blue pills? Please tell me you don't have to take medrol (steroid) too. Hugs lady.
---- 39 years old, MH is 43 TTC since 2010; Dx Unexplained Infertility; possible male factor 6 IUIs, 1 IVF, 2 FETs, 1 mmc, 1 CP Started Adoption process Feb 2015, officially waiting July 2015
I asked for Zofran. I know some people might feel differently about taking medicine while TTC, but it seriously saved my sanity. Throwing up in a meeting was my last straw. And also totally awkward. All men. I'm sure they think I'm pregnant. (I also started getting anxiety abt being in situations I couldn't throw up, or eat, etc.)
The best non-medicine remedy I have is saltines and ginger ale.
Thanks ladies! Still feeling like crap, but happy to have PB to distract me!
lizblue : Evil blue pills until beta 2 weeks after transfer (ET is Feb 7th). Nausea / vomiting isn't constant, but in the morning...and in the afternoon..well, too. I get a couple hour break between 12 and 3 before it starts up again. No medrol for me...thank goodness.
