Okay...I'm desparate.



I've been on my "crazy emotnioanlly-unstable racoon pills" (aka Estrace) since last Friday and I'm about to lose it



The bitchiness and dizziness, I could stand, but I seriously feel like I'm gonna throw up everywhere, all the time.



I have 'support group' (yoga and dinner) at RE's office in an hour and although I love going and spending time with the ladies there, I don't know if I can make it off my couch without a barf bag.

Anyways, anyone have any anti-nausea tips? I would be your BFF for life...

Awee this sucks I don't have any magic remedies but wanted *hug*. The feeling of wanting to vomit all the time sucks so bad.

Lemon drops (the candy). Its something about the acidity of lemon flavor that helps.

Ugh, I hate Estrace. I have no great remedies, but ginger ale is one of the best for settling my stomach. Or a warm Diet Coke in a pinch. But once I'm nauseated, there's no stopping it for me, generally speaking. I hope all goes well this evening and you feel better ASAP. (((Hugs)))

Hot lemon water works for me. Also, have you talked to your RE about this? Because my old RE put me on delestrogen injects 2 times per week) instead of the estrace and I had no more nausea. Maybe you could switch?

Ugh. Yoga and nausea. Bad combo. This sounds stupid, but sniffing rubbing alcohol pads works for me sometimes. An anesthesiologist having trouble with my postop nausea shoved a pad under my nose one time. Smells awful, but I worked.

I don't know what potential interactions you'd be looking at because I'm not a doctor. Please do not take this as certified medical advice.

Something to look into might be drammamine or b vitamins. When I get nauseated from my migraines, those were the suggestions from my doctor.

I'm another for ginger everything!! I've never tried lemon but seems like lots have! I have tried like though and it's also great for nausea.

PetSquirrel - I'm gonna bookmark that rubbing alcohol idea for a rainy day...which could be whenever b/c I get BAD motion sickness!! Reminds me...Vicks VapoRub works too (sniffing it)

Yay for having a medicine cabinet that looks like a drug abusers! Mine looks like that. I regularly bring in a big box of sharps containers to the local hospital lab for free disposal. Of course, since I'm not their patient, I get the squinty eye.
