I haven't told a soul about this until today..on here. I am looking into being a surrogate. For some reason my heart has been really heavy in regards to foster kids and families who struggle to have children. I am a baby making machine and have easy pregnancies. I have submitted my info to a surrogacy program and have been in contact with a "case manager". It will be down the road before anything happens, but I might just grow a baby for someone.

That's awesome! What a gift you will give someone!
My sister was having a lot of issues and they thought she might not be able to carry a baby. My sister and I started down that road of me being her surrogate but then she got pregnant haha
bullybutt, I love that your heart is leading you in that direction, it's a great gift to give someone. Cdnfroggy, I just cheer for all of the series to be over in 4 games, and for playoffs to end sooner overall! (H's team has not been great for the last several years, so he just watches all of the games)
My brother and SIL are expecting and want a boy really bad. SIL calls my brother "handsome" in the most whiny, irritating tone and they have been referring to the baby as "little handsome" which is even more annoying. They had the Harmony test done and found out it is indeed a boy. Part of me was hoping they would have a girl so I never have to hear the words "little handsome" again.
I honestly can't tell if it's the name, the tone of voice, or both that drive me nuts. Probably both.
My BIL's name is James. My in-laws call him Jamie as they've done since he was little. His girlfriend of 5 years calls him that as well. Constantly. Not just to him, but that's the only thing she calls refers to him as and I think it's weird. He's in his mid 30's and doesn't need a child nickname. And then she has her parents calling him that, too, along with her kids.. It makes me cringe every time I hear it. I guarantee he's going to be 50 and still called Jamie by all of them.
bullybutt, that is such a great gift that you would give someone!
Lola, That was me yesterday! I may have even tried to use my unshaved legs to get out of some sexy time with DH, but he wasn't having any of that.
honeybee434, I guess this is my FFFC- My DH is named John, and sometimes/ a lot of times I call him Johnny.
Do you call him Johnny when you talk to other people? I doesn't make me cringe when she says "hey, Jamie" to him. It makes me cringe when she says to me, "I talked to Jamie and he said...."

My DH still gets called his nickname by all his family members when we go to visit. Usually by the time we leave I am calling him it to. Its "T.J." He doesn't ever say anything about it, but he rid himself of the nickname when he moved away. He's been just "Norm" to everyone but his family since he joined the military 11 years ago.

I will forever think of "A River Runs Through It" when I hear your husbands name. Also, Brad Pitt was SMOKING hot in that!
bullybutt, that is so incredibly generous of you, I don't think I could, but have a lot of respect and admiration for people who can!
My FFFC: I was cheering against my hubby's hockey team because all the playoff games tended to be during LO's supper/bedtime and DH was always so distracted or would ask me to do it all so he could watch the game. So happy they lost finally.
I read this as if your husband was actually playing hockey ("my hubby's team") and got slightly confused when you got to the part about him watching the game. My father and brother still play in a league here, so that seemed reasonable.

My A-hole family got me sick. I have refused to go to the doctor all week because I too am an asshole. I have been drinking apple cider vinegar and salt water gargling like its my job. Today I can barely talk.mwe leave for our rescheduled weekend trip in an hour. I am so stubborn that I will not admit that I am sick to DH. I keep saying " I know I sound aweful but I feel great!"

BIL's girlfriend has a naturally whiny voice. Also I don't like her and think she is a head case. That probably is where most of the problem stems from. Haha.

This made me laugh. In all seriousness I hope you are feeling well enough to enjoy your trip.

Made me LOL and think of the DAY BEFORE my wedding. I was getting sick all week and on Friday I had totally lost my voice!! Everyone would just crack up laughing as I was trying to rehearse our vows.
