Was your second period post D&C on time?

Hi ladies! Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. So I was wondering for those who have had D&C's - was your second period after having your surgery on time? My first period came after 6 1/2 weeks, and my second one should have arrived yesterday, which would be my normal 26 day cycle. I have a feeling the second one could be off as well. Of course in the back of my mind I'm thinking wouldn't it be great if I'm a day late because I'm pregnant but I doubt that's the case.... Just wondering when I should expect it and what your experiences were.

I opted to wait until my third period (June) for IVF#2 because I thought I'd be getting my period on the tail end of my vacation but I'm back and it's not here yet.

Have you been temping/charting or using OPKs at all? You may have just ovulated a couple of days later than usual. I ovulated a few days later on my second cycle after my D&C, which put me closer to 30 days than 27. I don't know if it was D&C/loss related, or just coincidental. If you think you might be pregnant, I'd wait a couple days and then test.

Mine have both been exactly 30 days which is a little off from before. We are waiting one more cycle before trying again (if I'm ready) so I'm curious if it will be another 30 days.

Hey vballbaby, my second was 2 days late so day 30, however after my first loss my second was right on time and then my third was 2 days late. This month, I had absolutly no spotting before hand like usual. Normaly for me I kinda spot for a couple days before it comes so I know she is on her way, but this time nothing until it was here. It also was shorter then usual, but i however spotted some this weekend at CD 10, not quite sure what thats about, that has never happened before. But I do know that things can change quite a bit after a D&C and any loss really. I hope it comes soon for you. Waiting is awful!

I haven't. I had intentions of doing so and bought a thermometer but with vaca I didnt get it together. Guess it'll be a waiting game for now

I feel you on the being ready part. I'm not feeling great about cycling again. Hopefully I can get mentally prepared.

Thanks hollyberry. The waiting is only stressing me because we are going to nj for three weeks July 4. I had planned on waiting until period 3 to cycle which would be early June but if this one is going to be a week late or whatever I'll have to stim sooner because that will throw my whole schedule off track. Fucking sucks.

Part of my is so scared because of all the unknowns and the other part of me is all - just do it!! Just jump in and whatever happens happens. I can be one way or the other depending on the day.
I hope you find a good place to start again.

Well AF came today and I'm jumping into Ivf #2 tomm! We were going to wait until June but decided to get right back on it after having a talk. Def nervous but I think I'll have a diff mind frame this time since I've been through it.

To answer your question, my 2nd period since d&c seems to be coming right on time. My temp dropped this morning (10 DPO) which is normal. I expect to start my period tomorrow.

I didn't have a D&C, but I am secretly hoping my 2nd period isn't on time. I would like an extra couple of days, because we can start trying again after my third period (so early July). I will be out of town, sans H during the predicted FW and I don't want to miss out!

On a related note, does the first day of a natural miscarriage count as cd1? My FF thinks so and has a predicted fw for me but I wasnt temping because I just wanted to not work at it yet. How long till you guys got your first AF? M just curious because I have no idea what to expect anymore!

vancitygirl, I wondered about this as well, and found a lot of people online with the same question, but no definitive answer.  In the end, I decided to call the day that my miscarriage was 'complete' (and all POC had been passed) as CD1.  My cycles average about 33 days, but my cycle after miscarriage was 47 days.  I wasn't temping that cycle, but I had clear signs of O on CD 35 (compared to my average O-day around CD 21).
