I was up half the night with a sick 11 month old, got thrown up on twice. He's currently napping and although I should be napping too, I'm doing my nails because I'm dumb
Twaffle, I hope DS feels better! Have fun Texasmama15!
I am so ticked at myself for falling back asleep after turning off my alarm. I woke up at 5:10 with a leg cramp, and it was too late to make my workout now DH is snoring and I can't sleep.
My ex offered to call out ( this is a first!!) and Gabe is spending the day lounging with his dad and his strep. I'm just happy it's not the flu - he'll be back to normal tomorrow

Just read the thread about TB fighting us...assholes. One of these days I really need to figure out how to use my twitter account.
I'm exhausted and not feeling well, fell asleep at 8:30 last night and I sound like a frog and am going to work anyway (trying to save pto for maternity leave) but I'm really happy because I pick up my mom at the airport after work. She's just in town for a long weekend, and staying with my great-aunt (who lives near me and has been having a lot of health issues, I help look after her) but it'll be so good to see her. We're really close and she's so excited about this baby, and this is the first time I've seen her since getting pregnant
It's my "Friday" today, as we don't have students tomorrow for teacher in-service. I mean, I still have to work, but I get to work with adults all day as opposed to teenagers. It's a nice change for the day!

I have been blowing up my Twitter feed retweeting about this. Yeahhhh The Bump, whatever you have to tell yourself to feel better, cause 4,000 members were just "trolls"....

I am exhausted...BUT! got an awesome deal at the store this morning for breakfast and lunch for the next two days. (Normally I just have crackers in the morning but I actually got to eat a jimmy deal bowl) I am beyond excited lol Other good note...it's almost Friday.
The month of January is always super busy for me at work preparing taxes and other various year-end and quarter-end tasks, but all I want to do is catch up on here. You ladies are far more fascinating than my job.
I finally feel human again. I don't know why but the second trimester "glow" and energy didn't really kick in for me at 14 weeks. I'm 23 weeks now though and my acne is finally gone and I much prefer the hard belly over the rolling bloat.
Yesterday my son said, "Mama your tummy getting really really big!" Me,"Yes, its going to keep growing and then what is going to happen?" my son,"IT GET BIGGER AND BIGGER AND THEN BE AS BIG AS DADDY'S!"
OMG ladies, I feel so much love but I'm so out of practice, you guys are so so fast! Will take me a bit to get back into posting shape, but I will get there. Thank you for the love!
I wish I had more sick time saved up so I didn't feel bad using it just because. Sadly I'm saving every last minute that I can for maternity leave so staying home for a mental health day isn't an option. But I wish it was.
Ditto to this. I only get two weeks total vacation. I've worked here for 7 going on 8 years. Vacation time does not accumulate. Unlimited sick but that's because I'm salaried. It sucks balls.
(First World Problem) My phone decided to jump outta my back pocket and into the toilet last night. Put it in rice overnight - still won't turn on. RIP dear phone. You were like another appendage.
This week marks the 4 year anniversary of my miscarriage. Even though I have the most amazing little girl in my arms and another one growing in my tummy, it's still really rough for me. I thought it would get easier each year, but it really hasn't. Sorry to vent here I just don't know where else to talk about it.
