So, anyone else up and frustrated? We're having a wake-up-whenever-you-put-me-down night, for a total of 1 hr sleeping since 9:30. Womp womp. Thinking 6 mo spurt may have something to do w it. But DH has to get up at 6 so I'm on 100% night duty, and my boobs would love a break (if he's not nursing, he's screaming).
Thanks for letting me vent, I knew you ladies would understand.
I'm on the 2 month spurt. I feel like he's a newborn again. No sleep and I have to get up in one hour at 6 am to get my son ready for school. Once he leaves baby will want to eat again and then DD will be up for the day. No rest for the weary. DH is snoring away next to me. Can I cry???

I only have LO and I want to cry, so I think you deserve an iv of wine. Or Girl Scout cookies. And all the crying you want.
LO was comfort nursing all day, so I think her belly was nice and full when we went to bed because this is the first time she has woken me up. What I'm frustrated with is that our apartment is bone dry and making us all sick. Our humidifier isn't even doing a damn thing, the percentage of moisture in the air keeps dropping or just maintaining. It's such a weird, horrible combination to have a stuffy, runny nose and a dry sore throat. I feel like my throat is literally made of sandpaper. While DH and I are over here suffering, I'm spraying LO's nose with saline like 4 times a day to make sure her poor little airways don't get parched too.
We've been up every 2 hours since 9:30pm change/bottle/ nurse/sleep/repeat. I'm assuming this is the 6 week growth spurt and we're on day 3 of this cycle. LO seems to have switched nights and days as the last two days he's been sleeping 3-5 hours at a time, but only if I am holding him. How long will this last???

Yea I understand that I have to get up and pump anyways, but that should not be the reason why I have to take the MOTN (well early morning) feeding H!!!!

The baby is awesome but my 2 and 4 yo decided 4:30 was a good time to get up. It's 7:30 and they've already melted down several times. It's going to be a fun day. Coffees all around.

Yeahhh. DD2 is 6 weeks tomorrow and I'm sure it's already starting. No matter how good she eats at bed time she'll be up bout 30mins to an hour later. Cried whenever she was up yesterday unless there was a boob involved. Then there's the matter of fussing at the boob instead of just nursing. Like I know there's milk in there. Don't lie to me!

Ugh. I would have made them stay in their rooms! They will probably crash mid day and maybe you can too?! Lol I know that's impossible. Get that coffee flowing!

I have no patience for the snoring! I don't even sleep w my husband anymore bc of it and I don't feel bad about it!

They stayed in their room til 5:15 but I could hear them up earlier. Then they were up and down til my H got up at 6. Room sharing went really well until the 2yo moved out of the crib last fall, we've had one issue or another since then. Right now the 2yo is waking early, turning on the light, and waking the 4yo. Used to be the 4yo would wake the 2yo with MOtN potty breaks. They have ok to wake clocks which worked great for a few days. We need a bigger house so they can have their own space. It's so frustrating!

My 2.5 and 4 yr old girls share a room, and this is my worst fear and the reason why my 2 yr old is still in her crib (turned backwards against the wall so she can't climb out...so far it's working). My 4 year old moved to a twin bed at 19 months and never once climbed out until after she turned 3. She has a clock that tells her when it's ok to get up, and she follows it. I know when my 2 year old gets a real bed she won't care in the least what the clock says...and won't stay in bed. In fact she'll be climbing all over her sister within seconds of me walking out.
