I have absolutely no idea where we got the name Haggard Trolls from. I love it and wear it like a badge of honour, but I would love to hear how we got it. A drive-by's attempt at an insult? An inside joke from the early "nightly chat" days? Or did we just make it up randomly ourselves? Fill me in ladies!

Random drive by. We were explaining to them what trolling meant and they tried to turn it back on us and tell us we were trolling the site. Quite comical actually!

I love the name. My DH thinks it's funny that I'll tell him stories like "so, one of my fellow Haggard Trolls today was..." he always laughs and says "haggard trolls, that's funny"

I think I still prefer the insult "Basic," mostly because I'd never heard that as an insult before before, so I'm partial to that one. I love it.

joon I didn't know either I am glad you ask! I wasn't that active for a while so it's likely I missed the entire thread. I do however recall the pendejas (spelling?) Comment for sure...lol

Ah I remember that drive by thread... Lol it was titled like "for all the young mamas", and she really meant young, like 21 and under. As we were giving her the business a reg said something along the lines of I guess the rest of us are a bunch of haggard old trolls and it stuck (at least that's my recollection)
