Still reading through but @joybaby5 Hollister has their jeans on sale for $20 today. I bought some black super skinny a couple weeks ago and I really like them. They seem to be in between regular skinnies and jeggings. It's a pretty cheap way to see if you like skinny jeans/jeggins. Shipping is free if you have ShopRunner. I'm buying another khaki-ish color for work.

I have a Facebook friend that's really struggling with her 3 month old. He's super fussy, doesn't nap for more than a half hour, and rarely sleeps at all more than 2 hours- and often wakes up every 45 minutes overnight. She's getting a huge variety of people with opinions on FB, of course, including CIO. She's also convinced is teething, which I realize is possible, but with no sign of teeth I just don't think that kind of behavior would go on non-stop for so long. I wish I could help her somehow- I did ask if it'd be possible for her to pump and have her husband step in for a night, since she keeps saying she's so sleep deprived that she doesn't even feel like she's able to figure out what to try. Plus since he naps for a half hour every 1.5 hours or so she basically never leaves the house. I feel like that kind of behavior she should be talking to her pedi right? Or if the current one isn't helping get a second opinion? I know some babies are better sleepers than others, and JBBB and all that, but this sounds like beyond normal to me.

You just described my son. We talked about it with my pedi, and he suggested CIO. Yes, that young.
mamosey I was thinking of you guys, actually. But when R was waking up he was eating right, or at least BFing would soothe him? Her case seems more like they aren't able to do anything to soothe him, and he doesn't eat usually when he wakes up. I don't really want to get involved and just be another person offering advice, but I also feel like when she's basically crowd-sourcing every decision by asking everyone on Facebook what to do every few days she's driving herself crazy. :/ Her husband was away for a while, but now that he's home it still seems like she's not getting much help or support, at least at night.
carissalynp we grew into nursing soothing him.. It wasn't always that way. He was colicky and I think we made him dependent on the boob by always forcing ourselves on him. Ok that sounds bad.
No I hear you, you do what works, and you have to find something to help. I just wish there was a way I could help her, she's normally such an...exuberant person? And she's posting every day begging for advice and she gets 10 people telling her 10 different things, and she sounds so overwhelmed and exhausted and alone. I was thinking about referring her to TB so she'd at least have some people to support her, but then everything imploded, and I'm not sure where her BMB is at this point.
carissalynp I think you would be able to find me on Facebook because #mylifein52 pics? I would be happy to talk to your friend. The first four months of my child's life were hellish and miserable. And crushingly lonely, I felt no one could understand how horrible it was. I know better now, but at the time I was lost in a sea of misery.
Shoot. Well he does like it for the night light, and I like that it shuts off... but DH just said he wants to throw it away because the batteries die so fast.
bluedot ours doesn't die that frequently.... do you turn it on multiple times a night?
Also, seriously, that was one of me best finds in the past few months. ... $9.99 new at TJMaxx! J loves it!
Yea usually 3x a day total... since we use it for wake ups so we can see what's going on in his room. But when it's dying it turns into strobe light turtle and drive me bonkers, and of T catches it blinking will not sleep...
