I'm usually very lenient/not caring about what people wear because I'm not the most proper lady but coming to preschool pickup in pajamas & those boat shoe type slippers is just ew.. & there's snow on the ground. I'm guilty of wearing pajamas in public but that was pre-DS & college/young adult days.

I feel like this will be me but with sweats and sneakers. If I'm still working late nights ill be sleeping while DD is in school.

There's a huge difference between sweats & pajamas. you're good.

Yes I'm talking like obvious pajamas with typical PJ print like hearts, shapes, etc. I wear sweats a decent amount, too. Much better than legit pajamas.

Haha this is true. Its like seeing the people of Walmart outside of Walmart.

I have a few.
I think this one might actually be unpopular, because I always hear women complaing about it.
When I was pregnant, I loved having my belly rubbed/ touched. Mind you, I have never had an outright stranger come up to me and do it, but lots of friends did, and some co-workers that I only am sort of friendly with did. I did not mid it one bit, which is weird, because I am generally not a touchy feely person.

Oh, and I also hate seeing grown ups in public in PJs. Please leave your Sponge Bob pajama pants at home.
There were a lot of things wrong with the era that our parents/ grandparents grew up in, but the way they (seemed to, at least) took pride in their appearences I think is something we should have kept around.
Even in my mother's generation (she came of age in the 60s), she swears that being seen in in your pajamas in public would have been a thing of embarassment.
I don't find any of those mom/dad/parent/family video things of them trying to be funny, funny. It's very AWy to me.
I hate this too, but I am a little bit more concious then most about coming off as an AW, maybe.
I am going to go one step further and say that I even think pregnancy announcements on FB are AWish. I KNOW that they are so so so common right now, but I just don't understand it.
When I was preganant, I told my family first at maybe 8ish weeks (I just said, hey, I'm pregnant). Then I called my closest friends after my 12 week scan and told them. My outer circle got personal emails (not a "blast"). Eveyone that I don't / haven't spoken to in years didn't need to know I was pregnant.
Yes, if someone tagged me in a pregnant pic on Facebook, I left it (I think there's a grand total of one of me pregnant on my page). And yes, I did post a birth announcement on FB when Josie was born. The only reason I did that was because I thought it might be a tiny bit weird to make no mentuon of her, but to start posting newborn pics.

Oh man the PJs in public is not unpopular with me! There is a way to dress comfortably and not look totally sloppy. Everything I wear is cotton and cozy but I don't look like I just rolled out of bed! But character PJ pants?! No way. Keep those at home people!
My UO - I HATE SNUGGLING. Oh my god I hate it. I can tolerate it in very small amounts every so often but lately DH has been sleeping RIGHT NEXT TO ME at night and trying to cuddle ALL DAMN NIGHT. Dude, if I wanted to be all up in your business for 8 hours straight I would have kept our full size bed not spent over $1,000 on a king sized bed. I almost rolled off the damn bed trying to escape him last night.
I enjoy Mark Wahlberg but I can definitely understand one of his latest victims of his 1980s crimes not agreeing with him being pardoned.
I agree I can see the victims part in the situation. I also think its important to remember he was very young at the time.. Its such a tough call to do the right thing in the situation, but given a man is blind because of his actions I don't think the pardon should be granted.

Sweats are like yoga pants in my book: totally acceptable to wear out in public!
Unless you're talking about the sweats with the elastic cuffs, and in that case, that's always a big ol' nope because those never look good on anyone.

Cable companies should do an a la carte system for channels. Charge a low, reasonable base fee for the local channels and maybe a few national ones like The Weather Channel, then charge something like $1 for every additional channel you want to add after that, but you'd get to pick the channels you want to add. They can always charge more for subscription channels like HBO, certain sports networks, etc.
I'd bet they'd still make a ton of money by implementing a system like this, and you wouldn't have to worry about loads of channels you never watch.

Lol I have a Victoria secret pair that have the elastic. They are amazing and make my butt look bigger lol
Bahahahahahahahahahahaha! If you have a smaller butt, I can see why that's a bonus. A butt like mine, though? OMG that would be a disaster. I don't need mine to look any bigger than it already is!

I doubt this is an UO, but I definitely agree! I only actually watch like 3 maybe 5 channels.

That's about all I watch anymore too. We cut to basic cable to save some money, and I don't really miss the majority of the other channels. If there was an a la carte system, I'd probably be more willing to pay more money to keep things like HGTV, Travel, Food Network, and would get things like Sprout for the kid.

I realize this O is proabably highly U.
My UO: I guess I'm OK with the above. Pregnancy announcements on FB, anything on FB. Posting Christmas presents. Bragging. I believe the intent of FB IS to be an AW. I don't typically post like this on FB, but isn't that what it's kinda for? To connect or re-connect with people in your current life or the past. To share. To AW. To post your kid. Your cat/dog. Your spouse. To catch people up. To keep people in the loop. I think FB is one big AW.

chapter79 - yes, I guess that is sort of the point of FB-- so I guess that probably means I am uncomfrtable with FB in general.
I def use it to show off how cute I think DD is, and I like to see pics of my other friends kiddos, especially those that live far away, so I don't know if I could ever "quit" it.
