laur clearly I am just very perceptive. It was just always so awkward! I like Lorelei and Christopher better. Or max!
I always felt like they did some revisionist history with Christopher. He wanted to marry her in high school, he wanted to marry her in season 1. When our story began, they had a really cordial relationship with him (they even mention that he called every week). I remember thinking so many GG fans were so incredibly anti-Christopher. He had his faults, but he always loved the hell out of Lorelei.
I also don't buy that he would've walked away from her once they were married. He would've probably tried to whisk her away somewhere so that they weren't constantly running into Luke, or he would've redoubled his efforts into 'winning her.' He didn't give up on her for 20-some years, why would he when he HAS the ring on her finger?
That said? I didn't hate Luke and Lorelei. I totally agree that their chemistry wasn't great when they got together, but that was actor driven, and Amy Sherman-Palladino abandoning the show. I do contend that Lorelei was going to have to start compromising if a relationship was ever going to work with anyone though.
I put way too much thought into GG.
Also, this post should make me a member. Appropriate that it be Gilmore-related.
Sorry you've been asked to blow without them having any evidence to suspect you shellbell. I'm sure it's frustrating but to me it's still worth it for them to get the assholes off the roads.
Unfortunately, drunk driving is a serious problem in my area. People with DDs is very rare.
Okay, so unfortunately, this is the first post I hadn't read yet. I have been out of the office for maybe an hour, and totally spaced on what conversations were going on. I totally had to read this about 5 times and scroll back up to remember we were talking about breathalyzers!
Also, in the 5 minutes or so I was in the car, I heard that Hanging Tree song. I don't like it any better now than I did when I first heard it.

I like TJ's, but not as a main grocery place. I like some of their things, and we go every 2-3 months to TJ (it's 2 hours away). I'd rather spend less money at Aldi on groceries, but I am cheap like that.
I'm scared of the flaming but......I didn't like Luke and Lorelei together. They just didn't have any chemistry as a couple. It was much better with all the sexual tension before they got together. Also dressed up Luke was ugly. That hair! Yeck, put the cap back on.
I have read that the actors HATED each other. So that could be what you are picking up on. Even though you are wrong.
I read this also. Same thing with the X-Files actors. I hate when I read these things, it does impact my feelings about the characters.
I also read that Lauren Graham hated the dog. That made me very sad. I had to pretend I didn't hear it.

And as far as chiros... We (DH and I) went to a chiro pre-pregnancy. I think it was helpful in my process, and I continued to see him through the pregnancy, and it was awesome. They are anti-vax, which I wasn't too impressed with, and they just got too expensive for us to keep going to. They also had this huge workshop about how changing your diet 'cures cancer'. Yeah, I don't buy that one either.

Here's my UO: The noob rank really doesn't bother me. I don't really feel a need to up my post count just to get beyond that status. (Although I have been posting a lot today, it's mere coincidence!)

My aunt is constantly talking about her diet too. She's super hypocritical though because she eats junk constantly. She was lecturing me about warming vegetables up in the microwave with Dorito dust on her mouth.
I probably need a new show to obsess over. I'll take recommendations.
The Bachelor
FFTC PLUS a weird AW: I've never watched that show, even though my college roommate once brought one of The Bachelors to our dorm room. His name was Bob Guiney? And he was not nearly so cute back then.

shellbell That's true but they still have a PhD and it worries me that some of their patients may not be competent enough to research things themselves. Instead, they may believe their blatant misinformation.
I had no idea there was such hatred towards max! Am I the only one who liked him? To be fair, my dislike of Luke didn't come until late in the show and was probably due more to writing than the actual character. But I stand by my opinion that his hair was weird.

That is insane! I don't doubt that some of the food that you get in the grocery stores has excessive amounts of crap in it (preservatives and such), but taking it to the length that some of these people do is ridiculous. (IMO) We try to eat relatively healthy-95% of our vegetables are either fresh or frozen (not canned), and we try to get meat either from my dad, or from a butcher that's grass-fed. But sometimes you just gotta fall back on pot pies, or pizza rolls, or whatever!

Have you watched The Good Wife? That was my last binge-watch and it's great.
I have caught an episode or two. That's a good call, because I get to look at Logan. WIN! You're brilliant.
Did anyone watch Bunheads during its (too brief) run? What a bizarro, amazing show.
ETA: I didn't actually hate Max, but I didn't think they were right for each other. Another man who would've stood by her through anything. I think her lady bits are paved in gold.
chiawombat - I watched every episode of Bunheads. It was...interesting? I really liked Sutton Foster. I think it could have been really good if they had given it some time to develop.

Is this true?
I thought it was a doctor of chiropractic or something. I'm under the impression it's not the same as med school (though many of our drs don't have phd's either).
@thatgolfbitch I don't like it for the same reasons megash113 mentioned. Except I have Central Market as my go to.
carseat I stopped going to my chiro when she thought my jaundiced LO shouldn't have used a bilibed and that I probably caused emotional damage by using it.

Not knocking chiros or their training.
Hmm.. maybe not? I know she is Dr. Lastname but I guess I don't know the actual initials following.

I liked her too, and I liked where it seemed like the show was going. Andplusalso, I will watch Kelly Bishop in anything she ever does. She's magic.
