We're doing either zoo or jungle theme. DS' name is Rory, and we call him Ror for short, so we thought it would be cute to have a theme that incorporated lions (because they roar ). I just have to go to the party store and see what they have for those two and then decide.
A string of Christmas tree lights with pink and purple tulle tied to it to put on the cabinet thing in our dining room, pictures from her 1st birthday picture session Sunday will go on that table mixed in with the tulle lights.
The dining room table will have her main cake, a smash cake, and different types of candy sweets. Cake balls, #1 suckers, pretzel sticks w/ chocolate, chocolate covered oreos. All the chocolate will be a pink or purple color.
Her outfit is the one I bought off Etsy. The most adorable bloomers with feathers on it with a onesie with a pink 1 on it.
I'm debating between two ideas and I don't have much time to decide. One option is the safari theme (the same one lincbeesmom posted) in both the boy and girl colors, or doing a general hearts/valentine theme since their bday is the 13th and their party is on the 14th. I know I won't be able to do the heart theme when they get older as they will have their own ideas so I might just go for it this year.
We are doing zoo to lol granted I can get her outfit in time! Her fav stuffed animal is a monkey has been since she was little so thought it would be perfect! Dress her in some leopard print and away we go lol
It's going to be half birthday half house warming tho because I'm lazy and don't feel the need to throw two parties lol
This totally has gotten me on a pinterest kick! I have been stressing about having her party because of family drama, but screw it! I want to do all the themes!!
I am first trying to pick a location and who to invite. We are not planners and so, we are not set on anything.
But, I want to do a "Crabby Tabby" theme, even though she isn't really a crabby baby. Or, I'd probably go woodland since that is her nursery theme and do crabs next year.
