We're headed to an anniversary party tomorrow for family and to an event at the zoo on Sunday. I'm glad we have an extra day this weekend to recuperate!

We have zoo today, then I work tonight (boo) and a carnival/fair tomorrow afternoon. Then nephews bday on Sunday and then going to see my best friend in CT on Monday. Yay long weekend!

This weekend is now up in the air. FIL had a ECG as prep for a colonoscopy. He failed and was rushed tow hospital emerg. They admitted him and are doing angiogram/angioplasty this morning.
Problem is he is 2.5 hrs from home. And MIL didn't go with him, and she can't drive in the city.
And her busybody friends wee guilting her into going down last night (ie. Requiring me to drive her down last night), but we never would have made it before visiting hours were over. So I offered to take her today. This morning she said no,but will come spend the day/night here so as to not be alone (and it will keep the busybodies away).

I will likely have to go pick him up tomorrow.

So my initial plan was loads of cleaning and organizing this weekend. I might get some done, but not as much as planned.

We are visiting both of my grandmother's and my aunt and uncle for the long weekend. We arrived yesterday afternoon. So far we have gone to a car show at my Grandma's church. Today we have breakfast and a trip to a park planned before we head to my other Grandma's house. They live about an hour away from each other. They are 76 and 90 and still active and live by themselves. I'm pretty lucky!

Happy weekend ladies! We're going to the aquarium with some friends and their kids today and then going over to a friend's for a rooftop BBQ tonight. Then tomorrow afternoon we're headed out to my parents and will stay through Monday afternoon so we can see my hometown parade. DD loved it last year so hoping she loves it this year too. And I start stims for IVF tonight so that is the excitement here.

buttercup this is the birthday month for you too, sounds like. We have had SO MANY. I've honestly lost count. One more this weekend and then 2 next weekend and then May is over!

leahks77, it's the Brew at the Zoo event. Two of my favorite things - animals and beer! We have a big group going so it should be fun!
