6 weeks was fine, but yesterday was rough!!! (7w5d) She was hungry, wasn't napping at all, cried all day! But then poor girl wore herself out and slept all night. Today she is a bit better, but man it just breaks my heart when she cries so hard!

I'm opposite of you. He's just over 8 wks and slept all yesterday, then was up all night crying. Seriously nursed for 2.5 hrs straight. Ouch. Got DH up and made him take a shift after that bc he still wasn't tired.
Definitely last time I let him sleep that much during the day... Neeeed coffeeeeeee
So I thought last week' fussiness was his growth spurt, but it was the UTI. This week, however, is rough! My little man is soooo cranky. He screams to eat, then falls asleep while eating. I try to put him down, and he screams and won't sleep. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. It took 90 mins to get him down last night. I feel awful for him, and its throwing my pumping schedule off, so I'm stressed about that. I keep fantasizing about throwing in the towel, but I know I'll regret it. Just have to get over the hump.

And this morning, Miles is all smiles, but busting out of his 0-3 clothes like he's The Hulk! This growth spurt stuff is no joke! Also, I need to go shopping!
LO has hit his 6 week growth spurt. One day he slept pretty much all day and all night. He would wake up to eat, pee and poop. He was all cute and smiles. Then yesterday....he ate constantly and was fussy. He didn't want to be held but didn't want to be laid down. Nothing seemed to stop the screeching baby dinosaur. He destroyed what little supply I had stashed in the fridge. (I'm EP). I hope today is a better day.
About the pumping: I've pumped the past 2 days, but won't today. Today I'll choose sleep. She ended up eating the milk I'd pumped anyway.
And the long stretch of sleep: I hope I get one soon! Last night was horrible. She was awake from 8:20-2:30 and would cry if you stopped moving or if you put her down. Finally got her to sleep on my chest at 2:30.
My dh got the pleasure of a 5 hour nap yesterday. Why could it not be me getting sleep.
Oh, is that the trick for getting through the growth spurt? I've been doing it all wrong!
My grandmother and mother swear by a shot of whisky before a feeding to help with setting a growing, fussing baby. I'm not sure if it's supposed to make the baby chill or if it's just to take the edge off for mom. Either way, not sure I'll be trying this one. LOL

btw, we are hitting the 6 week growth spurt full force today. yesterday we had a medium-ish high case of the fussies, but we have been full on fuss bucket eating machine today. this is the first day since I started EP'ing where he has actually eaten more than I've produced in a day (he had 29oz and I made 28.5oz). go baby.
We hit our growth spurt Wed-Friday. He was just a miserable human being: cranky, hungry, inconsolable. I started pumping each day so I would have extra on hand for the evening. It made my first week back at work difficult (WAHM). However, I have gotten 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep in the last 3 days because of it.

I think my LO is hitting it right now. She wants to be on my boob non stop, and is spitting up and then wanting to go right back on. The biggest problem is that she is constantly fussy if she's not feeding. Nothing seems to make her happy when she's awake. She will be six weeks on Wednesday. I'm losing my mind!
We flew past the 6 week growth spurt with no issues. LO is 8 weeks and all weekend it was nonstop feeding, catnaps, and fussiness. I give all the BFing mamas a lot of credit. As exhausting as it is to keep up with feedings during a growth spurt I can't imagine having her attached to me 100%. At least DH can help on weekends and when he gets home from work!

I thought that somehow we have passed the 6 week growth spurt. But here we are at 8 weeks 4 days and my baby is inconsolable. Everytime I put her down she cries and she constantly wants to eat. I'm at my wits end today. I don't know if this is a growth spurt or what but it sucks
