Tristan hasn't really "teethed" yet, or atleast not too terribly awful. My older two always got diarrhea and a stuffy nose right before a tooth popped through. We lived on teething tablets and frozen wash cloths. Fun fact: my oldest got his two lateral incisors before he got any other teeth, with is head full of black hair and a wicked widows peak, he looked like a baby vampire !
LO has his 2 bottom teeth already. Started symptoms at 3 months - tons of drool, fussiness, chewing on everything and interrupted sleep. We have tried pretty much everything and nothing really makes a huge difference. Tablets give temporary relief and I give Tylenol for major meltdowns. I think he is going to start cutting top teeth soon. It's a good thing we don't remember teething.
My LO doesn't have any teeth yet and I'm not sure if he is teething or just being a monster baby lately. I did, coincidently enough, have a dream last night that he got a tooth. That sucker was sharp!
We got the bottom two at the same time. Those little bumps and the drool and the fuss were there for two full months before the teeth finally popped. I also use teething tablets and Tylenol when it was bad. E doesn't like teething rings cold, but would use them at room temp
LO has his two bottom teeth. He started showing signs of teething 2 months prior! Lots of chewing on hands and he really liked wash cloths or soft toys. Seems like an upper tooth is coming in now and he's started using a teething ring but it's a softer one again. The teething tablets have helped when he's been inconsolable. He had several episodes of extreme crying and a few minutes after a tablet he went straight to sleep. He also likes to chew on my hand but drew blood the other day because them things are sharp!!
Idris has one that is about to poke through. He's been pretty miserable the past two weeks so we use Hyland's teething tablets when he's inconsolable. Other than that, cold wash cloths and teething rings, and our fingers have worked best. We're not planning on using amber necklaces or things like that. No diarrhea or fever, but we've got the drooling, fussing, interrupted sleep, and constant chewing on everything. Poor babies!
Lo has been drooly for a really long time. His guns got swollen awhile back but he didn't act fussy or anything. I was talking to my mil and apparently dh didn't get one tooth until he was 14 mos. holy crap.

My fella is gnawing on everything (see his new favorite - a phone case) and fussing so I think he's starting. did anyone else's baby go on a food strike while teething? He's still having plenty of diapers and is just straight up not hungry for large stretches of the day.
pdxlaurens our pediatrician said it was normal for lo not to eat as much when his gums were really bothering him. I guess the suction can make it more painful. There were a few days he only ate about 16 ounces and even refused his pacifier. It didn't last long though because lo loves to eat.

Good to know about the eating less. LO is still a mighty eater, but has been leaving an oz or two in his bottles for last few days. No teeth yet, but I think he's getting close and daycare concurs. We've had drool for a while, but a noticeable uptick in it recently. Rather than interrupted sleep, it's like he is almost more tired and sleeping more, and yet still a little fussier than normal. And of course everything gets chewed on. He did have a stuffy nose this morning, but so does my husband. No fever, but often feels a little warm, flushed cheeks, etc. So I suppose it could just be a little cold, but I'm hoping it all points to a tooth.
DH has been drooling and gnawing on thing since he was two months old. I am getting kind of tired of people telling me that he is teething and running out of polite ways to brush them off. His teeth will come in when they come in.

Poor DS is 7 months and has been working on 2 on the bottom for like a month. I can see and feel them but they haven't broken through yet. He's a drooly mess and chews on whatever he can grab, usually fingers. Frozen washcloths have been good and teething tablets or tylenol for the particularly bad times. He's working hard for these chompers.

DD2 has been teething for months. Lots of drool and fingers. But otherwise very pleasant. Yet still no teeth. With DD1 it was a nightmare! She'd get postnasal drip so bad she'd cough herself awake and often gag.
The weekend has been rough and we can see two spots where the teeth are about to poke through. DS has been drooling and gnawing on things for 3 months. He was a little off yesterday and felt warm. He pooped and spit up more than usual (and he usually spits up a lot - this is almost vomiting). He had a complete meltdown in the church nursery last night, but calmed immediately when I came to get him after they paged me. Today he has been oscillating between being really upset and really happy. He would be fine right after tyenol so we are pretty sure he was in pain. He was not really into nursing and I felt like it was hurting him at times. My parents came to see him and he got fussy every time anyone but me held him. He would happily play with everyone as as long as I was holding him. We see teeth buds now so that is at least some of what is going on, but I am not sure how much is the wonder week and possibly an upset tummy.
Basically my happy, rarely cries baby has turned into a clingy, sad little guy

This is exactly what's happening over here. He had two amazing naps today which never happens. He usually STTN but he's clearly sobbing in pain. He's woken 3 times already inconsolable until I pick him ip
LO has been drooling and chewing for 2 months now. Just this weekend we can feel a tooth trying to poke through. So far, he hasn't been acting any different. He's not really interested in teething toys but will chomp down on our hands or washcothes.

I felt LO was teething much of the past 3mo but the last 24 hours have been intense. This may be a FFCM but she turns 6mo tomorrow and I'm considering giving her Advil before bed tonight because LO and I are both besides ourselves with (her) screaming and exhaustion.
I'm not crazy that it's ok to give Advil at 6mo right? Has anybody tried it? My friends with older babies say it worked so much better than Tylenol and the camilia is just not cutting it today!

We got approval for advil/ibuprofen at 6mo so I'd give it a go!
DS chews on everything! I feel like he's been teething since he was born, as tooth #1 popped through at 8 weeks old! He cut tooth number 6 just a few days ago. Teething necklace seems to help some, but he's mostly pretty chill about anything and everything. Unless he has to fart...then he throws a fit. :-P
