AW: We've had a breakthrough!

Since the board is slow I will do a little AW of DD:

DD is a great sleeper (usually), but we have always had problems getting her to sleep anywhere other than her own crib. We would have to go out of our way to go home for naps since she won't sleep in the crib at grandma's house or not stay the night at our IL's lake house because of all the 3/4am drives home after not sleeping and screaming. We have been nervous because we are going on a family beach vacation 10hrs away in less than a month and really worried about how our LO would do, so we decided to try another night at the lake house as a pre-vaca test. She slept through the night and she took a nap the next day in the crib!!!

Good for you guys, that's awesome! My DD always sleeps like crap away from home too so I'm glad to hear there's hope! Enjoy your trip :-)

Yay! We are in the same boat with DD only liking to sleep in her crib or car seat. We will be out of town this weekend, so we will see how it goes. DD and I are also taking our first plane flight since she was born, We are only flying one way and it's only an hour, so it will be a great trial run to see how she does for longer trips. She is currently in love with airplanes so I'm really hoping she will be excited and understand that we are on a plane, rather than being miserable the entire flight.

Jealous. DS is not a good sleeper. He takes better naps.
