1. What is your due date? July 28th

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones? I am exhausted. I sleep from 8pm-6am and don't want to get out of bed. I have also gone from throwing up around 4 times/week to every day for over a week now. I'm ready to feel better!

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up? Nope, no appointments for us until Feb. 11th.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? Emotionally I'm great! After a NT scan measurement that had me a little worried (2.9), I got the call a few days ago that my NIPT test came back negative, and we are having a little girl! I am SO relieved that baby appears healthy, and so happy that DS is going to have a sister.

QOTW - Have you started a registry? If so, tell us some things you already have on there! No registry yet. I'm hoping I don't need much for #2! Although I'm very girly, so I want some PINK things for my baby girl.

1. What is your due date?  August 4th but with a RCS I expect to go in the last week of July (my original DD was 7/27)

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones?  Really annoying sick stomach.  Not nausea exactly just feel really gross. 

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up? I had an appointment Friday and they surprised me with an US.  It was awesome! They just did it for the hb check but I got a quick pic of my little one! So happy about that.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? Overall good.  I'm happy and my emotions seem in check.  Lovey Dovey tv shows drive me to tears though, more than usual

If so, tell us some things you already have on there!  I haven't.  As a STM there's really not a lot I need and I don't know that I really need one.  Once I know the sex of the baby I'll probably put a small one together.  I am planning on hitting up babies R us during their trade in event though for a double stroller!

carli - how does the BRU trade-in event work? I got the flyer last night, but was confused. Do I have to trade in a crib if I want to get a new crib, carseat for a new carseat, etc? Are there any restrictions on brand, how old it is, condition, etc? I couldn't find that information.

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones? I'm exhausted and right now I am sick with a sore throat and other awesome symptoms. But pregnancy symptoms have died down except for heartburn which I get all the time anyway.

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up? My next appointment is February 4th, hopefully that's when they will schedule my anatomy scan.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? Stressed out about various things going on. I've been depressed the past few days, but I'm getting through it.

I did start one with babies r us but all that's on there is a car seat for my toddler, I put it on there to save it. I won't add more until I know what the sex is.

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones? Still some nausea, but nowhere as near as bad as it was. Still exhausted, but I think that's due to the pregsomnia more than anything else.

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up? Pretty quiet week...nothing until the 29th

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? Okay...I told work/friends/family that I was pregnant this week so now I'm publicly known as a pregnant lady and that's weird. I'm feeling a bit lonely lately because my husband has been working a lot, but I feel bad for being selfish about it.

QOTW - Have you started a registry? If so, tell us some things you already have on there! I'm not planning on doing a registry. We're not having a shower and I plan on buying most things second hand. We're also fairly minimalist - so trying to keep the baby things to what is really needed. I am keeping a Google spreadsheet of the few things I plan to buy though. Lately I've been really into researching baby carriers.

Lately, a terrible headache. I don't have any tylenol since the bottle I had dumped out in my purse. Yesterday was the first day I didn't at least dry-heave, but the pukes the few days before that were in full-force.

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up?
I see my endo and OB next week for a f/u. Nothing exciting, but hoping to hear baby on the doppler this time. Usually, if they don't hear it, they will do a quick U/S, so that wouldn't be bad either!! Anatomy scan is March 6 with my MFM.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week?
Overall, I'm doing ok considering we are getting our closing date pushed back on our house because our buyers loan won't be ready in time. DH is really upset, I am more level-headed about it surprisingly. It's nothing we can control, so why stress about it?!

This is baby #2, so we don't want a shower or anything. I made a registry so we can get the completion discount (20%) on anything additional that we need to buy. It will pay off since we need a swing and a few other bigger-ticket items. I put my due date a month or so early so we can buy everything in time for baby. We put a swing, high chair, baby bathtub, double stroller, activity center, play mat, etc on there.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? Just generally emotional. Moody, little things are bugging me and I've been taking it out on FI so I feel bad. We don't see each other much because he's on second shift and it makes us argue more. Thankfully he's going to first shift in a week so he'll be around to help more!

I'm thankful that I have a cousin who I am very close with who has had three kids that can help me out. It's honestly a little overwhelming! And I think it will be better once we find out what we're having.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? I feel like I've really isolated myself from everyone, I haven't saw my friends in weeks and even I here I stopped posting for a while.

carli - Ugh, do you feel carsick? That's how I felt the whole first tri... Yay for the surprise ultrasounds, how great is that!

cgiles120812 - I'm so sorry you're still sick! I'm sure that contributes to the stress and depressed feeling. Take some time out and do something special for yourself and maybe it will help you feel better! ((hugs))

catladymeow - I hope your nausea dies and and you get some rest!!! Speaking of minimalist; I was telling my DH that it bugs me how much crap is out there!! I wish it was like it used to be where you just go to the grocery store and buy the one damn bottle they had on the baby aisle!! It really does get ridiculous!

wells2010 - Headaches are the worst; if I were you, I absolutely would have dug that Tylenol, that now tastes like pennies, out of the bottom of my purse!

shopgirl I actually called to clarify and they said they don't have any exclusions on what you can bring in so any brand, condition, age is fine. There may be some exclusions on what you can purchease (i.e. clearance items). They said basically you bring in any item that's on the list and they give you a 25% off coupon that you can use for any of the items on the list. So you don't have to trade in a carseat for a carseat etc.

This will be my first time doing it but after talking to the clerks it seems pretty easy and definitely a good deal!

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones? Still feeling like poop most of the time. I have a good day occasionally, and then back to throwing up the next. I'm thankful the better days are happening, but so looking forward to the nausea/vomiting to be gone. Still battling the insomnia and constipation and am starting to add some mild headaches to the mix.

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up? Not for a couple of weeks. We had our NT scan last week and everything came back looking great. It was awesome to see our LO wiggling around and actually looking like a human!

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? I've been a little irritated here and there, but not sure if it's due to the hormones or the fact that I teach 10th/11th graders and they're always a bit crazy after a long weekend. Also, just frustrated to still not be feeling well. 7 wks into the m/s and I'm so over it.

Thankfully, we've been blessed to be given a crib and changing table, so at least the bebe has a place to sleep if nothing else haha

It's hit or miss.  Last night was rough again after a week of feeling great.  So I think I'm on my way up, but yeah.  My boobs are also gigantic and are killing me.  Other than that, I don't think there are any new symptoms.


3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up?
Next appointment's on the 27th.  I can't decide if I want to do the blood test too, so I'll talk with them about that then.  I'm also hoping they'll schedule my a/s.  They usually do them at 20 weeks, which is perfect for the 8/12/16/20 schedule.  I'm on 10/14/18, so I don't know how that'll work.  Would they make me wait 6 weeks?  Guess i'll find out!

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week?
I'm good emotionally, other than dealing with my 3 year old who is testing me.  3 is tough.

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones? I feel like a big bag of shit. I was starting to feel better but then I started throwing up Sunday and have been SUPER nauseous since then. I also sleep from like 8pm-6am and still exhausted.

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up? Had my first OB appt Monday, couldn't pick up the heartbeat but I had just had my NT scan the Thursday before and saw bean jumping and moving around like crazy with a strong heart beat so she wasn't too worried and neither was I.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? I guess this week has been a down week, I hate feeling so miserable I am so ready to start feeling like myself again. I guess I'm lucky I'm single, I don't have anyone else to look after but I also don't have anyone else to look after me. Oh and I start a pregnancy circle tonight, so I'm kind of excited about that but sad that it goes till 8:30 and cuts into bedtime lol.

I'm starting to feel much better day to day! Still get the crazy exhaustion now and then and could sleep for 12 hours at a time if possible, but I'm doing ok with 8. About once a week I get these crazy bad headaches that water/food/tylenol/rest seem to help, but I hope they go away.

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up?
No doctor appointments for us until Feb. 19th, but we are meeting with a possible doula on Friday, so I'm excited/nervous for that. I keep worrying that I'm not crunchy enough.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week?
Today I could (and have) cry at the drop of a hat for silly reasons (I enumerated them in randoms, trust me, they're silly), but overall things are great. My ILs are coming this weekend and I'm a little stressed over that, but it should be fine and I'm excited for them to see the house.

Heh - I started a registry before I got pregnant. I like to be prepared. So far I have all the big items on it and I'm starting to fill in the smaller things. I'm way into bargain shopping and buying second hand so I've already taken some stuff off that I've scored. I found Lucie's List to be super helpful in picking out some of the overwhelming things!

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones? I've been getting headaches during the day the last couple weeks, but a small cup of coffee usually fixes those. Overall I have had very few physical symptoms, which I feel super grateful for, and I hope all of you start feeling better soon!

3. Any appointments or ultrasounds this week? Coming up? I had an u/s on Monday seeing the baby kick and jump was incredible and helped make this whole pregnancy feel more real to me.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? Mostly just having trouble focusing and getting things done whether at work or home. I have no motivation.

QOTW - Have you started a registry? I did one just for fun, but I think I only put a couple things in there - a pack and play, monitor and baby washcloths. I'm not expecting a shower, and we have already been offered a lot of hand me downs from my brother and H's brother. We also have a very small house (one bedroom) so need to keep things pretty minimalist.

Amazon offers a 10% completion coupon and has a universal registry option to add stuff from anywhere around the web. I don't think the 10% applies to universal items, though.

I don't have my next appointment until February 16th. That will be an ultrasound, and more testing, but not my anatomy scan yet.

This week has been busy, don't have time to be emotional at the moment. lol All has been well though.

Nope, I've not started a registry yet. I will pull the "FTM card" here and say... that I am completely clueless about exactly what the baby needs versus baby items that are mostly useless or unnecessary. I don't want to register for a bunch of items that I will never use for the baby. So, I need to educate myself on that still. Also I would like to by some things second hand, that are good and safe to buy second hand.

mtsue - Glad you're on the up and up; it makes a huge difference coming out of the fog! Good luck with your doula! I've heard really great things about them regardless of whether you're crunchy or not! Oh, I definitely understand the crying; I cried while watching a dog video this morning!

kasiaskis - Yaaay for a great ultrasound!!! It does make it real, doesn't it!? Motivation right now is sooo hard. I'm in the midst of moving right now so I've HAD to do stuff, I think that's the only reason I've been productive!

@wafflesfriendswork - I understand what you mean about laying low at work. It's considered rude to close your door at work here, but I really really want to! Good luck at Buy Buy Baby!! That place overwhelms me!

Pretty good except for the exhaustion. I literally go to bed at 8pm most nights and get up at 6:30.

I just had my 12 week apt on Tuesday and also did Harmony test screening. I'm excited/anxious to get the results back bc then I will officially come out of the preggers closet at work. Also, I'm so pumped about finding out the sex so soon!!! Eeeee!

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week?

I had 3 nights of crying because I was sick and feeling like shit all weekend. I was also having anxiety about the genetic testing and which ones we want to do/if t was necessary/ what if we opt out then kick ourselves later stuff. Also, DH didn't think he could even come to the appointment and I didn't want to go alone. He was able to at the last minute thank God.

Nope, but we did start talking about it some. DH said if had crossed his mind too when I started talking about it. I will within the next month or so.

Nope. We had our 12 week visit and our NT/first tri screening last week and will do our 16 week appointment on 2/14. The ultrasounds looked great, all blood work has been good and/or normal, and we're just playing the waiting game now.

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? I think being tired is taking a toll. I'm just not up for handling anything major right now. I've been trying to keep my head down at work and just do a good job so no one talks to me. Hopefully everyone just assumes (correctly) that I'm really busy.

2. How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms still lingering? Any new ones? RLP has started coming around lately, so have headaches. Luckily my nausea has almost disappeared. I'm so tired most day.... And this week I have felt like my mind is in a fog. I was trying to finish a publication at work that would usually come natural for me and I finally had to ask for help... Lack of focus ugh....

4. How are you doing emotionally? Any ups or downs this week? This is where I struggle... Although I haven't cried in a few days. Long story short is I'm losing my best friend of 11 years because apparently the new girlfriend doesn't like me? Which I don't understand in the first place...I'm a happily married and pregnant woman, not a threat. I usually would sort of call it his loss and shrug it off but my hormones have made a huge deal out of this.... I was up from 2-4 this morning because my mind decided to think about it more. Luckily my DH said I just need to give it time and has been super supportive. My hormones need to take a chill pill.
