I'm new to this board (I normally hang out on my BMB-N13) but I'm a big reader and would love to give and receive suggestions!
In May, I read The Nightingale (set in France during WWII), The Lotus Eaters (about a woman photographer covering the Vietnam War) and started The Cuckoo's Calling for something a bit lighter. I enjoyed The Nightingale, although the writing itself wasn't super impressive to me. Coming off of All the Light We Cannot See (also set in France during WWII), I was spoiled for beautiful writing. The Lotus Eaters was very good--would definitely make for a great discussion. Also, since I did not live through the Vietnam War, it was interesting to read something about that time period and country.

What did you read? How did you like it? Did you read it for a challenge? What number for the year?
The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski (4/5) I liked it, but not as much as The Winner's Curse. I'll still read the next one, though. It was book number 27 for the year.
Prudence by Gail Carriger (4/5) Rue was a fun character, but she could be dense at times. Not what I would expect of a daughter of Alexia Maccon raised by Lord Akeldama. This was another where the editor should be fired. There were a ridiculous number of typos. Step up your game, Little Brown! It was book number 28 for the year.
Charlotte's Web by E.B. White (5/5) I read this one with DD as part of her school's end-of-year reading project. I hadn't read it in years and now remember why I loved it so much. It was book number 29 for the year.
I'm doing the Popsugar Challenge, but none of these count toward any of the categories. I'm also reading 60 as part of the Goodreads yearly challenge and am 5 books ahead for the year.

I'm doing the Popsugar challenge and have a reading goal of 60 books for the year. These were books 25 through 28.
Pieces of Me by Erica Cope (3/5 stars) for Popsugar challenge - A book at the bottom of my to-read list. It was okay, predictable but still enjoyable.
Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs (4/5 stars) Love the Mercy Thompson series and this was great.
Angelfall (Penryn and the End of Days 1) By Susan Ee (4/5 stars) - A Trilogy. So good! I can't wait to get to the next in the series. Highly recommend for fans of dystopian/paranormal YA.
Bound by Flames by Jeanine Frost (4/5 stars) - A book published this year. I didn't realize the series was going to have a fourth book and when I finished it, it felt incomplete. It wasn't until I saw there would be another book that I realized I did enjoy it and I'm hoping things will be resolved.
What did you read? How did you like it? Did you read it for a challenge? What number for the year?
May
Choose Your Own Biography - Neil Patrick Harris - I loved it. Creativity, Inc. - One of the best management books I've ever read. The Raven Boys - It was alright. I'll pick up the second book (trilogy) but I'm not rushing to read it immediately.
My goal was 24 books in 2015, I'm currently reading book 21.
