Can we just fast forward to like April?

DD has been illness free so far this winter *knock on wood*. DH and I, that's a different story. We're both still trying to get over a nagging cold/sinus infection.

Spring/Summer is worse for DD. She has tree and pollen allergies plus asthma. I watch her like a hawk during soccer practice to make sure she is breathing OK.

Ugh, I feel you. We've been a revolving door of sickness since Halloween! DD has allergies, but our dr. Won't prescribe medicine.

I'm so sorry. This year seems to be the worst for sickness. My mom is the only one that hasn't been sick. I can not wait for this season to be over with.

I second this emotion. My girl started daycare in November and has been sick pretty much ever since. Which means so have I. Blerg.

I agree, we have all been on the sickness rotation for what feels like forever. The worst is that DH is now sick for a second time and he is SO WHINY about it. Ugh.

I agree. DD started DC at the beginning of the month and was only illness free for the first 3 days. Then she got a stomach bug, and was so sweet to pass it on to mommy and daddy. Then she got a cold and still has a runny nose from that. Ugh.

Ugh, DD has pretty much had a snotty nose for a solid three months now. Plus a bout with stomach flu in December. And thanks to my current pregnancy-induced crappy immunity, I've been right there with her, every step of the way. We're also so ready for spring!

Ugh that's awful. We had a year like that last year with DS2. The kids in his DC class passed HFM back and forth all winter.

DD1 has had a cough and runny nose since October and now is progressed to a double ear infection. DH lost his voice, I'm hacking up a lung, and DD2 (not quite 6 weeks old) has a study nose and a cough now too. I seriously hate winter.

That is miserable, I hope she gets better soon! It may be snake oil, but I had read a study about kids who had higher amounts of this probiotic were the ones that didn't get sick as often. DS, SS, and I seem to be passing colds back and forth to each other. I even missed two days of work this week b/c this crap just knocked me out flat. Ugh.

She was upset about not going to school again and said her BFF had the flu Monday but was still at school the other days (Tuesday and Wednesday ). Same girl also had fifths just before DD had it. I can't with this. It's one thing to send your kid to school with the sniffles. It's another to send them to school with a communicable virus that kills people. I would talk to the daycare if this is an ongoing thing.

I do think they are aware of the issue just based on the number of reminders about policies.
