AW sorry chart/ bbt during luteal phase poll

Ok, I think I'm freaking myself out. 

My Pre and Post O temps have always ranged on the lower end, and I've never really been concerned about it but this cycle my temps are really low.  Nothing has changed in regards to temping, wake time, room temp, etc. 
Dh and I have given it our all with timing and I'm (soar) and tired and he is done for a few days...

Please take a glance if you will and provide your insight.

I checked 2 boxed... definitely biphasic. But also have another opinion (actually 2 others).

Have you had your TSH and Free T3 (I think that's what the other one is called) and checked for antibodies for Hashimoto's? I have Hashimoto's and therefore thyroid issues and I've read that can cause low BBTs.

Also... have you had others try your thermometer or checked midday to see what your temp is? Maybe your thermometer is just reading low.

Thanks your insight vh2014, I did have initial bloodwork ?3 yrs ago when first ttc with my dh. I cannot remember any of the information and don't have it in front of me. It is interesting that you mention thyroid/hashimoto's as my mother does have that condition and in fact has had her thyroid ? Is it hereditary? She had her thyroid radiated/removed? (damn I should know I'm bad daughter) as she is not a candidate for hrt due to breast cancer survivor.

Anyway it may be something I seek testing/treatment on just not immediately but dh and I would oh so love a 2nd together, a sibling for our lo, etc but we are just not in the financial situation to seek assistance and insurance offers no coverage; I would assume a thyroid issue and treatment of that would be covered.

My thyroid and the synthroid were covered by 2 different insurance companies... i would think that would be standard since while it does affect TTC it has other long term implications as well is something they fix even if you aren't TTC. 

I was told they look at it if there are others in your family with it but no idea on hereditary.  My grandmother had issues with hers.  I'm on a tiny dose.  Your primary care physician can check it out... I think that's who found mine.  I go to an endocrinologist to keep up with it.

Thanks again vh2014, for your knowledge/insight, etc. When my ch's first popped up I figured I'd keep temping and get a second/higher jump within a few days. Now, cf is gone and cp is pretty firm and no higher temps. I am fairly confident I've o'd but these low temps are a bugger. I plan to temp Friday morning but give it a rest over the weekend. Not sure if I'll pick it back up next week or not.

@kellbell. I also have Hashimoto's. My RE referred me to an endocrinologist because it will be long term for this diagnosis/care. So therefore, we were covered. We also have no coverage fertility wise. I'm on mobile and can't see any attachment

@kellbell, it looks relatively normal to me, but my temps have always been on the low side too (even lower actually when I conceived DD). I pay more attention to whether the temps go up and stay up rather than what the numbers actually are. FX this is your month!

@kellbell, I have had months where my temps are kind of low once I get crosshairs. I believe that I'm borderline hypothyroid because my temps are always low compared to others, and I have a TSH of 2.6. That is just my guess, though.

@kellbell, I also think you should go to your primary care physician and get your thyroid checked. It can really have an impact on TTC, but should be covered because it's not really a fertility test.

Thanks all for your thoughts. I am now leaning towards I just O'd yesterday but who knows. O on cd13 is way early for me. I'm going to continue temping and go from there. I possibly won't know until I start my period, which of course is the opposite of what I want to happen!
If I do start with an lp of 13+ days indicating O and low temps I'll get apt. with endo and go from there.

I stalked your previous charts and I think yo uare right. It looks like you sometmes go that low for a day or two and then up to where you were when the crosshairs showed. FX your temps stay up there and that's it. GL!

@kellbell - From your past charts it looks like the overall cycle length has been decreasing for the last 2 months. If it does it again, is it possible that the length of your luteal phase won't be affected by O'ing earlier?

mom2boxers, yes my lp is shortening you are right! damn, I guess if lp appears to be 18 days or some such ridiculous lenghth (without a bfp) I'll know the ch's aren't right. It doesn't really matter of course in the grand scheme.
