Hi all,
I was very active on TTCAL on TB until it imploded and then never officially made the move over to these boards. I lurk every now and again over here but haven't been an active poster. I didn't know this board existed!
About me....
I have 2 girls, 4 and almost 7. I got pregnant with both girls very easily and have been TTC #3 since June 2013. In that time I have had 3 losses. Over the past two years we found out that my AMH is terrible (.2) and I have a c-scar defect from my c-section with my youngest daughter. We did IVF in August of 2014 and ended up with 7 eggs that had to be frozen because I had so much fluid in my uterus. I had surgery in December to correct the c-scar defect and we thawed my 7 eggs in March for my FET. Only 2 made it to transfer, and on March 26th I transferred one "perfect" and one "almost perfect" embryo. We found out after a few weeks of wonky betas that my FET resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. I had the MTX shot at the end of April and beta was just 0 this past Tuesday.
I just finished my first year of my PhD in Teaching and Curriculum and was in finals when I found out the news so I haven't had time until now to really process and grieve. Some days are better than others but I'm still feeling really lost. I'm supposed to have a second c-scar surgery next Friday but if AF doesn't show this weekend it will have to be postponed. We're benched for 3 months due to the MTX and hope to use our last IVF cycle from the package we purchased in August.
Thanks for listening...
