DD woke up at 6am which is becoming the new norm and I don't like it. She used to sleep till 7:30. So she is already down for her first nap and I am about to start mine!

That's been happening here too, but I caught a break this morning. Eta: hit send early: enjoy your nap!

DS has never slept past 6am. I am working on becoming a morning person. I haven't mastered it yet!
Dd used to be a 6 am girl, but lately she's been sleeping in until anywhere from 7:30-8:30. I love it, but also know it will suck when I have to start getting her up earlier for daycare (if I ever find a job). And then she'll probably get up that early on the weekends too
It took until 10:00 to get her to go down in her pnp last night, but then she was only up once to eat and actually went back down in the pnp instead of in bed with us. I'll call that a win.
We're visiting with more family today. Hope it wares dd out so she goes down easier tonight.
Our baby is funny, he gets up sometime between 5-6:30, takes a bottle and then goes back (in the swing lol) for some period of time. Today he slept till 9:45 so I think we will hopefully be able to overlap both kids naps today!
We are having a very lazy day. Our toddler has been fighting a cough and has been basically on top of me all morning. We needed a lazy day!
Unicorn alert...but so nice of DD to sleep through night and wake up at 7:30 am. I heard her around 6 but she's learned that if she rolls onto her belly she can find her pacifier and then will fall asleep again. Maybe she can learn this trick in the MOTN..one can hope!
Donkey DH though..was up late and has basically been a lazy bum today!
S woke up at 815, and hasn't napped yet. He's in the crib, getting his legs stuck outside... I think it's time for breathable bumpers. And a convertible car seat.
My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs.
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.

I am in denial about the convertible seat. I gave up and bought the breathable bumpers a couple of months ago.

I've had the bumpers for awhile be she'd get stuck and wake herself up. They were a huge help in keeping pacifier in crib too.
IME The switch to the convertible car seat was THE BEST. He is so much more comfortable in it. I wish we hadn't waited so long.
Same with us. DS loves his new car seat. He just sits back there and talks to himself.
The only reason we haven't switched is out of necessity. Our two yr old often refuses to walk and we use the snap and go stroller a ton for our baby so we have an arm avail in case we need to carry our toddler. I can't see us moving our baby until he out grows the infant seat for this convenience. We moved our older son around 6-7 months.
We went up to the mountains and I had no signal all day, but we are on our way home now. Way past bedtime. I hope this doesn't bite us big time. He's snoozing now, but will likely wake when we get home. We had so much fun! We just sat around the campfire, then went for lunch, then more campfire and songs, and catching up with old friends. We got soaked, so tomorrow we have to air everything out. The only sad part is we left before smores. My parents have a firepit and I'm thinking of inviting myself over tomorrow to use it so I can have my smore.
