another intro from lurker land

I have been on the boards since I found out I was pregnant with the milk monster, but didn't follow the birth month board until August or so. I suppose I have creepily fallen in love with you all. I have learned a ton, been entertained, and feel like I am now at a point where I can be a participant.
A little about me...I went to school and got my teaching degrees in physical education and health. With the lack of jobs I have found myself in the construction field as a heavy highway carpenter (basically build interstate/highway bridges). I love to snowboard and crochet. I have two dogs and one is definitely my favorite. My husband and I got married in 2011, bought a fixer upper in 2012, and had our little girl in 2014.
Milk monster was due on 10/20 and finally decided to arrive at 42+1. Technically a November baby, but I couldn't fathom switching to the November board, so I hope that's okay with you all. I was laid off at 38 weeks and am fortunate to be able to spend the better part of the winter with my little girl.
