I'm thankful that DH was offered a new job. It will cut our health insurance costs in half and allow him room for professional growth. It's a career shift, but something that will be better for us in the long run.
I'm also thankful that I am almost done with this ridiculously long transcription project I've been working on since the end of May.
Thanks for starting this, jmc11511! It's been so quiet here this week. Congrats to your H on the new job! Change is kind of scary, but it sounds like this is going to be a great one!
I'm thankful for the perfectly mundane conversation that DS and I had in the car yesterday afternoon after I picked him up from daycare. We chatted for about 45 minutes straight, and it was so sweet to hear him tell me all about his day. I love hearing his take on things because he's blunt in the way that only toddlers can get away with.
I'm thankful that H and I have developed a schedule that's working that he and I can have our own time. I have diligently been working out the past 2.5 weeks and it feels really good.
It's been so quiet here for a few days! Hope everyone is doing okay! jmc11511 congrats to your H (and you) on a good big step! soultrane that is adorable. I can't wait for those conversations. boobacat can you spare some of your work out motivation? Good for you! I'm thankful for the pond near our house. It's a state park with a huge beach and it's all free. We will spend the majority of our summer there hiking, then beaching, then play grounding. And repeat.
I'm thankful that I work in a profession that allows me to do independent contracting. I am handing in my notice at my full time job tomorrow and will take time off this summer to spend with DD before jumping back into another IVF cycle. I'm thankful that next time I have to do this I won't have to worry about balancing it with being late for work since I'll be able to set my own schedule!

I am thankful for my amazing friends/neighbors. AF arrived today so my surgery has to be moved to next Friday. DH is a GI doc so he can't take off work on short notice and within minutes of reaching out I have people to watch my kids, make sure they get on the bus, get to daycare and someone to take me to and from surgery. It totally sucks that I have to go through he surgery without DH there, but I have the support i need.

Thanks for starting this thread! I like to read the happy things everyone has going on
Today I am thankful for all the things in my life- friendships, work, family- even though they are keeping me so busy right now. Also, I spent all day in a training, and I am thankful they had good food. I basically spent the day eating. It was good.
