Who is your favorite band or singer of all time? Have you seem them in concert?

Mine is The Cure. I have seen them twice (1998 and 2008).

Foo Fighters - I haven't seen them in concert yet. I was ecstatic when they announced a tour for 2015 but they aren't coming here

DH got me tickets to see them in DC for July 4th. Opening bands: Heart, Joan Jett and the Heartbreakers, Gary Clark, Jr., Buddy Guy, and LL Cool J. Best. Christmas. Present. Ever. Hopefully I will be able to hold up at 7 months pregnant.

Ooh, I don't know if I could pick. In high school it was Smashing Pumpkins, and I got to see them once. Then Billy Corgan really amped up his tooliness and it all went downhill.

Now it's probably a between Carbon Leaf and Ben Folds, and I've seen both multiple times.

Fearsy and I must have been the same person in the past.

I don't necessarily have a favorite but my top 3 right now would be Jack Johnson (his Better Together was our wedding song), Mumford & Sons, & A Great Big World.

I have not seen any of those in concert. In concert I have seen Dashboard Confessional, O.A.R., Backstreet Boys, Hanson, Jewel, Senses Fail, Early November, Saves the Day, and I went to Skate & Surf in NJ which has at least 2 dozen bands per day. Still have CDs of bands I love that never made it from that day.

My heart is breaking for you. We saw them in 2011, and are going again this August and they are so amazingly good. Have you watched the Sonic Highways documentary they did with this last album? It's unreal!

My favourite, like it's obsessive and kind of unhealthy in a two tattoos, a cat named after the band, pictures around my house kind of way is Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. I saw him in 2010 and it was the highlight of my life, and then I got to see him again in 2014 and I paid exuberant amounts of money for row 2 tickets, and then my husband won us row 1 tickets, and there's a video of him drumming on Tom Petty's official instagram page. My life was complete.

emadlma and andtheheartbreakers SO JEALOUS! I thought that I might road trip to Toronto for the show, but now I'm not sure. They're still a chance they'll come to one of our many many music festivals this summer but I don't want to buy a festival pass just for them

Zac Brown. We've seen them in concert twice, once at Jazz Fest and once here in our hometown. They put on a phenomenal show, even if you aren't a huge country fan. They always cover some classic and hard rock, and do a few old school country covers that anyone would know. If you ever have the chance to see them, definitely go!!

I enjoy a lot of different music.  I love the foo fighters I also like the arctic monkeys, muse, billy talent, system of a down, Metallica, dirty heads, mother mother, and so much more.  I seriously could never pick just one band as my favorite.  I have seen quite a few bands from my list but I have yet to see the Foo fighters, although they are rumored to play at one of the music festivals we go to every year. But I may be a bit too pregnant to travel the 12 hours by car to get there in August.

Maroon 5. Got hooked in high school and Adam Levine is on my celebrity list. Haven't seen them in concert. Everytime they are on tour near me I am committed to something else. Ugh

I don't have a favorite... like some, tolerate most, but don't actively listen usually, BUT hubs does. His favorites are the dead milkmen and ACDC. To the point that he very seriously suggested we name a possible boy child Angus (after Angus Young)

I listen to all kinds of music. Top 40, country, oldies, etc. But we never had the money to spend on concerts growing up and i just never seem to get to go now that I'm an adult. But amazingly enough, the first concert i ever went to was Deep Blue Something (Breakfast at Tiffany) lol. It was free in Virginia Beach growing up. I also got free tickets to ZZ Top and Ted Nugent. I fear the only concerts in my future will be whatever pop star she will be into

I love me some TP. I grew up listening to him in the car with my dad on the way to school most days. I got to see him in like 1995 and would love to see him again. He played the Lock'N Festival near me this summer, but I didn't want to deal with the crazy crowds and stuff at an outdoor festival.

Carbon Leaf is from VA and I used to go see them play at a local bar every now and again when they were first starting out. It's funny to think they have gotten so big now.

I can't pick one favorite band but the two best concerts I've ever seen were The Lumineers & Arrowsmith. Mumford & Sons was awesome too but I hated the venue so that ruined some of it for me.

My first ever live concert was Depeche Mode and it was AWESOME. That gave them permanent favorite band status. I also loved seeing Nine Inch Nails live. Trent Reznor is amazing in person. And buff. Holy hell that man was sexy.

I LOVE Bruno Mars. Never liked him until I saw him in concert. Man is he sexy, little but sexy.

Another favorite, Miranda Lambert, she kicked ass in concert and I'm seeing her again in April!

First concert was Aerosmith, but I don't remember much, had a little too much of that gangha....

I like a lot of music. I can't really pick an all time favorite because I like so many things and it depends on my mood. Some of the best concerts I've been to are Florence + the Machine, Ingrid Michaelson, a doubleheader with Train and John Mayer, Jack Johnson, INXS, the Killers, and (don't judge too harshly!) Lady Gaga. I love going to Jazz Fest in New Orleans, and have had the pleasure of seeing Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, and Fleetwood Mac there.

I hate concerts because loud music and standing but I love the Black Keys and Ray LaMontagne. My all time favorite singer is Otis Redding.

Long time favorites are AC/DC, Foo Fighters, and Smashing Pumpkins. Can't forget 2Pac & Nate Dogg (RIP). My tastes vary widely, haha. My favorite concert to date was Weezer & Jimmy Eat World. I've also seen The Cure, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Boston & Bad Company, LL Cool J, Saves the Day (it was a phase but hell if I don't still sing along to every song). And many others back in the day.

Billy Joel. I technically saw him (and Elton John) in concert, but it was with family and I was barely 5 years old (so I don't remember it much).

More modern band? I love love love Angels & Airwaves and have seen them in concert twice. They are amazing live!

I could never choose one. Plus, there are always new things i'm into that things always get shuffled in the playlist. I have been into Queen a lot lately, and Broken Social Scene. I will say the best concert I have seen in a long time was Paul Simon and Sting.
Living in a big city, I had the luxury of going to concerts all the time when I was younger. I've seen more than I can count, but seeing Green Day in HS was fun. Like the perfect combination of age and time....

Hands down no questions asked my favorite artist is Josh Groban! I've seen him in concert every time he's been here. Last time I splurged and bought a front row ticket and my god was it worth it! *swoons* I only hope I get to meet him one day.

Mine is a tie between The Weepies and The Eagles. I've seen the Weepies in concert.
