I have a meeting at 9 that I am super nervous about. It has the potential to make me look like I'm not doing my job correctly, but that's what happens when you take on tasks with little to no instruction. Perfect way to start a Monday morning.
We bought a pallet of pavers yesterday. So we hand unloaded them off dhs truck layed them (after I hoed up all the Bermuda grass) poured gravel between dug out some more flower beds, layed some mulch, potted some plants and I am so effing sore. My bitch is that lo didn't freaking sleep last night at all. And woke up at 6. We had a pretty good past week of sleeping well, why did he choose last night to be up all night ?! Arghhhh
My FIL told me last night that I should really stop breastfeeding because it's going to ruin my boobs. Ummmmm... Why do you care?! It freaked me out a little to say the least.
Thanks @txaggie08, it wasn't too bad. Of course I got new stuff added on to my workload, as if I don't have enough crap to do, but it could be worse I guess.
I have more bitching to do. I snapped at my MIL yesterday, which is something I never do. Part of me feels bad, but part of me feels totally justified. She tried to call DH twice yesterday afterwards but he didn't respond, probably because at that point he was afraid for his life lol. I know she is going to play the victim because that's what she always does. I'm tired of her not interacting with my kids until she has an audience and wants to look good.
DH makes me late for work almost every single day. I can't really do anything until he's out of the shower, and when he lays around for 30 minutes after the alarm goes off, it causes some serious problems with timing.
I arrive to work at least 30 minutes earlier since DH started his new job and leaves the house at 6:15. I am more efficient getting the kids ready and out the door and not distracted by him. He thinks it's burden on me to get the kids ready alone but I much prefer it.

Why must smokers stand right in front of an entrance to a restaurant or store? I don't like walking my kids through your second hand smoke, can you move away just a little bit, please?

This! It was really bad when I was at dmv for two hours (that's a whole other issue!), and decided to wait outside because it was a warm, stuffy, germ-fest in there. In their defense they tended to stay on the other side of the door than I did but it was still pretty bad.

WTF? My boobs were saggy within 3 months so the damage was already done. That's what underwire is for

Tomorrow my son has state trap shooting competition in a city 3+ hours away. My mom invited herself and a friend along. So now it will be me, LO, DS and those 2 in a hotel room. And I wanted to leave at noon to beat traffic in high construction areas. It's 2PM and they still aren't here. I'm getting rage-y.

Can I be pissed off at my shoes?? I found the cutest wedges on sale at a store this weekend and they (seemed to) fit perfectly. I have very narrow feet so this is rare. I wore them to work today and they're super comfy EXCEPT my friggin toes keep sliding forward and over the front edge bc of the height I guess. I have little gel inserts that go under the ball of your foot but they were just sliding around rather than keeping my foot in place. Does anyone have any solutions to this kind of problem?
I'm not looking forward to our trip to Michigan. We leave Wednesday and will leave to come home Monday. 800 miles driving. Ugh.
Hope you prepare for some unpredictable weather. Where I'm at this week it's 80s during the day and low 50s at night. And so much rain. South Michigan has had some bad storms too so hopefully they are either done or you don't have to be in that area.
I took my LO to my 8yo daughters dentist appointment which I expected to be tough. Well the appt went smoother than I could have ever predicted. However everything afterwards sucked. My dog got tangled up and I had to try and unwrangle him when I got home after my daughter went inside and LO was sleeping in the car. Then I hear this terrifying shriek come from my daughter so I run to her and spill green tea all over myself and break a new umbrella and she was just upset because she didn't know where I was. I nearly had a heart attack. Also now LO is crazy fussy, I hate Mondays.
Maybe it's a bitch, but it's also a question. DH and I work a bunch of hours and have commutes. For the second time in like a month he has decided to take a vacation day and take the baby to day care anyway. My rage comes at the fact that her sleep schedule is screwed up cuz we work swing shift and my mom guilt is kicking in cuz her sleep is all over the place. I get he needs his alone time blah blah, but as I suggested, is it wrong of me to want him to take her to daycare at a later time? Am I being a bitch?
I have one more bitch before it's not Monday anymore.
My back has been killing me since Friday night. Well, I guess it's more my hips in the back? I haven't slept well at all. Calling a chiropractor in the morning and hoping I can get in soon. Ouch!
LO is finally teething after 3 months of drooling and biting everything close to him, but now he is really clingy and I can tell he is in pain. He woke up 4 times last night won't let me put him down anywhere. My back hurts sooooo much.
I'm just liking because I actually think the same thing has started happening here.
Lo had to go to our back up day care last week because grandma care was closed (in-laws went on vacation). It went fine, except lo now has a cold and I'm pretty sure that's where he got it. And now I have it. My throat has been sore since Saturday and today started with a bad cough. Luckily, it doesn't seem to be bothering LO very much. He just has a runny nose and had a low fever Friday but is happy as can be.

I would literally wake up early and take shower to screw him. I know it might not be possible but a few times late to work he will get the point.

karebear2 i hope its going better for you. I am excited that his teeth are coming out because I know he is going to look soo cutee, but I can tell he feels bad, so I have been wearing him the whole day, I am exhausted, hopefully he sleeps better tonight.
I hope you both have a better day today. Mine started at 4am, he was shrieking not crying. I really hope it's teething this time so we can get it over with, the anticipation is killing me, plus poor baby.
