We are going to the beach for vacation and we are flying. I didn't want to take the big stroller so wondered if anyone had suggestions for a good lightweight compact stroller? Doesn't necessarily have to be an umbrella I guess.
We haven't traveled with this LO yet but did fly with our older dd. We had a macclaren that folded up pretty small and worked well. They our a bit pricey but we used it until she was about 5.( she used it in disney a few times- she wasn't in a stroller otherwise at 5)
there is a first years that looks silmilar for cheaper but I don't think it reclines much?
We haven't traveled with LO either but we bought an uppababy g lite upon recommendation from my cousin. She travels extensively with her LO and she loves it because it's only 10 pounds (her kid is a chunker so even a few pounds helps) and stands on its own when folded.
We have a first years ignite. It has been discontinued but the summer infant 3d lite looks similar. The ignite was around $70.
It is not super light and compact compared to the $20 umbrella stroller but it is more comfortable for parents and baby. It reclines some, has taller handles, and a basket underneath.

I have the zobo by babies r us. It stands on its own when it is folded, has a large canopy, and a 5 point harness. I really like it and it wasn't too expensive
My mom bought the Vue stroller by Baby Jogger for her house. I actually like it because baby can face you or face outwards. If I was buying one for myself I would probably get that one or a Maclaren, just because that's what my SIL has used and just from pushing her kids around they're a pretty easy push.
I'd like an umbrella stroller too. and a jogging stroller. But 3 strollers seems absurd.
I have 4 strollers. One that was given to us that her car seat snaps into, one that I LOVE that was my son's many years ago (he's 11) but I don't use because the car seat won't snap in, one jogging stroller that my sister gave me (she had it for her son that's 8) and my umbrella stroller.
I only have one currently and it's the big one that the car seat clicks into. It was a gift so I don't feel so bad buying one. On another note if I bought a jogging stroller do you think I'd start jogging?
