Omg I had some hot flashes and I started remembering my dreams (which I normally never do) when I was taking Chlomid. But, the dreams on Menopur are even weirder!! Actually last night was terrifying!
Did anyone else have dreams like this on fertility meds?
2001 diagnosed with pit tumor-surgery, radiation Conditions: Acromegly (controlled), colitis (controlled) 2/2014 met with RE and High Risk doc 5/2014 stop BC, TTC naturally Never got period or ovulated 12/2014 provera (very little shedding), chlomid 50mg -No follicles growing/no ovulation 1/2015 chlomid 100mg -so far no follicles growing IUI#1-2/1/15-BFN IUI#2- 3/2/15-BFP! Due Date November 21 Baby girl born ON due date! :-)
I thought I was the only one! I had nightmares on clomid and experienced sleep paralysis too! (I get that sometimes anyway but it was worse on the clomid)
I'm on endometrin and estradiol and just had the craziest dreams the last 2 days. A lot of the meds do it, but yeah it can be upsetting. They just tend to feel more real and detailed for me.
Married 10 years. DX: AMA, DOR, endo, one tube, +NK, homozygous MTHFR C677T, and abnormal endometrial function test. MFI with high DNA fragmentation and pericentric inversion on chromosome 9.

I usually have pretty vivid dreams, but I feel like they're more so when I'm on progesterone. They're not nightmares, just long, detailed and really weird!

I definitely agree with the progesterone whenever I'm taking progesterone for medicated cycle my dreams are soooo long and detailed. Even with this last unmedicated cycle I knew my 7 dpo progesterone level was high because of my detailed dreams. So I wasn't shocked to see my 7 dpo level was 14.5. My dreams are so detailed and long sometimes I get confused with whether things that happened in the dream actually happened in real life. So weird.
I haven't been on PIO yet, but I got bizarre dreams both times with Provera. From what I've read, remembering dreams is most common during the LP and particularly as AF approaches (or as progesterone keeps rising in case of BFP) because progesterone disrupts sleep patterns, and when you wake up mid-dream is when you remember the dream. So it makes sense that anything interrupting your sleep will lead to a feeling of "I'm having the craziest dreams!"

Last night was probably just as bad! What the heck man. I dreamy my husband was leaving me! No clue why lol. Just we were fighting in the dream and he was like "I am out!" lol And my brother in law was there and was trying to avoid hearing us fight so he started vacuuming haha! I told my husband that one this morning and he was laughing at it. But, at the time it frightened me.

I just added in ganelrelix last night and couldn't fall asleep until 3:00am. Once I did fall asleep I had some crazy dreams. At least I see I'm not the only one!

Yep, I have wild dreams. Some are terrifying with people trying to kill me. Others are just strange...like when I went clubbing with a nun. That one was pretty cool...

This is interesting! I remember my dreams often, so I wonder if that means I'm not sleeping as well as I could/should be sleeping. I usually get almost eight hours a night, but maybe it's not good quality sleep. Huh.
