Hi ProfessorChaos! Thanks for the check-in.

How far along are you? Week/Fruit. 15w/navel orange
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? 
Physically I'm doing pretty good. I have some mild pain when I walk. I think it's SPD, but I'm not sure. I plan to talk to my doctor about it at my next appointment. 

Emotionally I'm hanging in there. I'm about a week away from when my water broke last pregnancy. So I'm trying to stay positive, and not let myself dwell on it. I've been repeating mantras in my head for the past few days. 
Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.?
Had another u/s on Wed this week. I'm hoping that I hear back about it today - if not I'm going to call. The u/s was to check my cervix to see if there have been any changes since 12w. FX that all is still well.

Next appointment is Feb 3rd. 
Do you need T&P's for anything?
I could just use some support to help me get over the anxiety/worry I'm feeling about the coming week. So anything anyone can offer is appreciated

Thanks for running the check-in ProfessorChaos, especially in two places! My name on here is basically the same, but I added an "r"...since it was a typo at the other place. So I'm now kristyw13.

How far along are you? Week/Fruit. 14 weeks - a lemon.

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I keep hearing about the lack of nausea and energy boost that's supposed to be coming. I've yet to experience either of those. I've taken more naps this week and had multiple days of two doses of Zofran. As long as baby continues to look good, I don't care.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.? I missed the check-in last week, but our NT scan went great. We got the blood work back. I didn't have a paper with me when she gave us the results, but our risk was really low for everything, thank God. As far as preparations, I went shopping with my mom this week for maternity clothes. I'm not to the point of needing them yet, but it will be nice to have them when I need them.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? Nothing for a few weeks.

QOTW: Where do you see yourself fitting in this new era of Evil XO Voldeboards? Are you going to GBCB? Where would you like the check-ins to be? I'm trying really hard not to go over there. Deleting the history of TTCAL was the final straw for me. If they only want sunshine and rainbows over there, fine, but I'm out. It was a place of tremendous support for me after our loss. I hate that future women won't have that and pray they find us over here. I just can't support XO group anymore. It's so hard to not go back and lurk a little, but I don't want to give XO any more clicks/money.

How far along are you? 4 weeks/poppy seed

How are you feeling? Nauseous and tired but very excited.

Upcoming appointments? Not until March, but I am anxious to get to that point because it was at this appointment last time that our loss was discovered.

QOTW: I gbcb'd earlier this week after TTCAL's history was deleted and Petra was removed from being the mod.

How far along are you? Week/Fruit. 35w/coconut (I am sure there something bigger than coconut in me haha)

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Emotionally I am good. Physically is a different story. I have pains everywhere.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.? The nursery is pretty much done. Everything just needs to be organized, clothes need to be washed and put away.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? 36 week appointment next thursday. I will have Group B Strep swab done as well as growth scan.

How far along are you? Week/Fruit. 24 weeks / canteloupe

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Good overall, definitely feeling bigger! Emotionally i'm good, although I do find that I tend to be overly sensitive often.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.? Just working on the nursery! We already set up the crib and the changing table. I wanted to set up the crib so that I could measure it for a crib skirt that i'm going to attempt to make.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? Yay for hitting V day! I'm so happy to have gotten to this point and i'm feeling more and more blessed every day. I need to go to the lab some time after the 30th for my glucose test. My next OB appt is on 2/2.

Do you need T&P's for anything? Good thoughts that I pass the glucose test

How far along are you? Week/Fruit. I'm 26 weeks/lettuce

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I'm still dealing with bronchitis. The doctor on Monday gave me a z-pac antibiotic, which destroyed me. Anything I ate went through me immediately, and I had insomnia, and anxiety attacks. I got permission to stop taking it after the second day and I'm feeling so much better. I'm still coughing, but I can tell things are getting better.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.? My sister sent me an early shower gift, a rocker for the baby. Boxes are starting to accumulate in the future nursery (currently our guest room). I'm getting excited to get some furniture for the baby.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? I see my OB on Thursday for a regular check-up. My glucose test is going to get scheduled. On February 20th I have my 30 week scan.

Do you need T&P's for anything? Just for my bronchitis to continue improving. I'm not a big fan of discontinuing antibiotics mid-course, but it had to happen.

I haven't GBCB yet, but I may just quietly disappear from there, since pretty much everyone i want to keep up with is over here now.

smagglebit big (((hugs))) to you in the next week ahead. Hope the mantras are helping you, especially the one about past pregnancies not being an indicator of future ones. I am sure you will be here many more weeks.

@kristyw13 I had the hardest time tagging you in a previous post until I realized you had added the "r" to your sn! Sorry fatigue and nausea are still kicking your butt, hopefully it eases up soon for you. I think it was around 15 weeks when I started to notice a change in how I was feeling.

mrsk91011. Congrats and welcome! I can't believe we are hitting October EDD's!! Mind blown

tg01515 good luck with your group b strep test!! *Warning* - if you have never had this done before or had it explained to you, they also swab your rectum. NBD, but to say I was shocked when this happened would be an understatement.

kj808 congrats on V-Day!! What a great feeling of hitting that milestone!

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I have had three incidences now of "false labour" in the last week. The latest being this morning. I get crazy strong contractions lasting for a couple of hours and then…nothing. I just want it to be the real deal or fuck off. It's really screwing with my mind and I am over it.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby prep? Not much. Just dealing with a few family issues regarding delivery. My mom and sister really want to be there, and I don't really want them. We are all in agreement they will not be present during the delivery but I don't really even want anyone there after. I just want to be left alone and for it to just be DH and I until we get home and I get showered and dressed. Barring any complications my MW expects we will be discharged after a few hours, so I don't think this is too much to ask? If we are stuck there for a day or so I would welcome visitors but I just hope to be there such a short time I don't really want any extras around.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? My next appointment is next Thursday which is when we will discuss how far over due my MW will let me carry but hopefully these ctx pick up and that isn't an issue.

Do you need any T&P's for anything? Just that real labour starts soon. I am tired, getting my sleep interrupted, and just ready to hold my rainbow.

QOTW: I am disgusted by the way XO group treated long time , valued members and mods. As well, most of the ladies that I want to keep in touch with are over here now so that makes my decision to stay here fairly easy.

How far along are you? Week/Fruit. 20 weeks/ ba-na-na (I wish I knew how to post a minion here)

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I'm feeling stretched. My abs are/were not the fittest and I'm feeling the strain in my lower stomach. I'm hoping stretching and yoga can alleviate this. Emotionally I'm okay, I want to cry sometimes but I'm not ragey at the moment.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.? We just found out this week that we don't have to move! I was worried that the landlords wouldn't let us stay because it's just DH and I on the lease. This means we can start getting the second bedroom ready for LO and actually start thinking about a registry.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? My A/S is Thursday. I've been feeling movement, but I'm always so nervous when the appointments approach.

Do you need T&P's for anything? One of the ladies on my BMB is having a rough time. She's currently in the hospital trying to save her babies. Please just t&ps for her.

QOTW: Where do you see yourself fitting in this new era of Evil XO Voldeboards? Are you going to GBCB? Where would you like the check-ins to be? It appears that I will be purely posting on GBCB. I will be lurking a little on TD, just to check on any ladies that haven't made the move yet.

Feeling like I am going to vomit all day every day. Fortunately lots of dry heaving but not a lot of actual puke.
No appointments until 2/9 and we aren't really even talking about it much until I get through that appointment.
I have not GBCB'd cause I have a hard time closing doors. But I don't plan to go there anymore. All my friends are here anyway.

How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Pretty good. Starving and tired. Emotionally I feel good after yesterday's appt.

Up until our appt yesterday, only my parents a sisters knew. We told the rest of the family yesterday after our good news and they are thrilled.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? We saw our little baby yesterday. Cute big head, arms, and legs. Measures two days ahead with a perfect heartbeat!

Do you need T&P's for anything? Continued T&Ps we keep on doing well with an uneventful pregnancy!

Honestly, I don't know what to do! I have lurked over at the other board but the formatting over there is not great. I feel like from what I have heard, the bump has acted horribly. I don't mind going over to the other board, I just worry people will get lost or forgotten in the change over.

How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Nausea continues, all the time. I've discovered that if I eat anything acidic I get horrible heartburn. Fun considering orange juice and tomato soup are a few of the things I can stomach But as long as baby is happy and healthy.....

Nothing too exciting, no baby prep yet, still a bit nervous.

Check up and doppler check tomorrow, N/T scan Feb. 3rd!

Just that my appointment goes well tomorrow. Both my MMCs were discovered at the 10ish week appointment, so this will be my loss milestone. If I can make it past this, I will be ecstatic!

Well, this board has WAY more people on it! The PgAL board is so dead now. It's a good and bad thing. Really breaks my heart, TBH. I'm going to try and maintain both check-ins, but it's hard, so please bear with me.

smagglebit - ((hugs)) Will be thinking about you in the next couple of weeks. I hope they're as stress- and anxiety-free as possible!

@kristyw13 - The energy boost hit me around 16/17 weeks, much later than I thought. It was real, though--I felt like an entirely different person! And congrats on a great NT scan!

kj808 - Congrats on V Day! I loved this stretch (well, still do) as pretty much every single day brings a higher probably that Baby would be healthy when born. It makes everyday seem like a triumph. Good luck with the GTT!

heathersf11 - Oof, so sorry you're still struggling. The antibiotic sounds awful! Is the cough still getting better? How's your heartburn? Sending t&p to you.

taberbtb - Wow, I can imagine false labor would mess with your head! I hope labor starts soon! Sorry you're dealing with those family issues. My mom would totally be in the delivery room if I'd let her (hell to the no), but she and I have decided that I won't even call her until I'm ready for her to come. I want a couple of days on our own first. This is tricky stuff!

stinybean - T&P for your BMB friend. The PAIF ladies have been having a really rough time lately. It's so hard to watch "our people" struggle. Good luck Thursday! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Here's my check-in from the Board That Shall Not Be Named

How far along are you? Week/Fruit. 28+2 now, I've given up on TB's fruit. They're stupid. Other sites say I'm an eggplant.

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I'm in an epic battle with heartburn that has been ruining my life. I finally caved and got Zantac yesterday (75 unit dosage), and it didn't help completely. I've been starving, sleep deprived, and unable to exercise and get stuff done as much as I want. I'm really losing my grip over this, and I'm not sure what to do. It's also made me very cranky.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.? I passed the GTT and all my other 3rd tri blood work! That's very exciting, and baby was measuring fine. This was especially reassuring because I've LOST weight in the past few weeks from this heartburn. I've also been slowly working on some fun nursery projects.

Upcoming milestones or appointments? Nope. Another boring stretch, although the appts are more frequent now.

Do you need T&P's for anything? I could use some for this heartburn.

QOTW: I would like to make the switch, but there are still some people on TB I would hate to lose touch with. It's also such a habit to go to TB, and this board is not a satisfying aesthetic experience. Perhaps I'll get used to it. I guess I'm in a wait-and-see, going to both boards holding pattern. But f@ck XO, man--this was some serious BS!!!

ProfessorChaos‌ I'm sorry your heartburn is so bad . I had it TERRIBLY with DS . Started with Zantac and switched to prilosec towards the end . My OB said that the link between heart burn and a full head of hair is one of the only proven pregnancy myths! Although I have friends that had heartburn and bald babies hopefully your LO has gorgeous locks to make up for all of this !!

Thanks for the tag and check-in ProfessorChaos. Sorry for the late response especially as a newbie to the group but last weekend got a bit crazy for us. Our EDD is June 19 and we'll find out the sex this Friday, so no team just yet.


How far along are you? Week/Fruit. 19w3d

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Doing well but cutting back on some of the things I use to do - I just get too tired and attic stairs are no longer my friend

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparation, etc.? Lil frustrated with some comments different friends and family members have made. My grandmother is very avid that we shouldn't buy or prepare because "you never know what could happen . . . ."

Upcoming milestones or appointments? Our EDD for our loss was last Monday and this Friday we have our A/S scan

ProfessorChaos Sorry you are feeling so awful right now. I know how you feel a bit I think. I haven't been to the gym in weeks and I feel like a lazy piece of crap. My MS is so bad that I can't stomach the smells at the gym. I'd be dry heaving off the side of the elliptical! I hope you can find something soon that will make you feel better.
