Good luck mom2xover2002 I hope everything goes smoothly and easily for you!
Not much going on here today, another lazy day while DH is at work. Tomorrow we're hopefully getting together with a friend and then DH and I are going out to dinner as part of our 'farewell tour' to having money and time to go out. Then Sunday we're getting together with another friend for brunch.

mom2xover2002 praying that everything goes smoothly for you today.
Not much spam here today. Just cleaning around the house and maybe going out to by a camcorder. My mom gave us a visa GC for Christmas and if we don't spend it on something soon, I'm afraid we'll do something practical with it.

Was up from 345-530 from heartburn. Then I was starving so I ate a snack and that kept me up more. This last month is rough. 38+2 today and while I am sure this little prince will stay in until due date + if he decides to come a few days early cant say Id mind
I'm so happy it is Friday! Last night I had a meltdown about how I haven't felt okay in months and am tired of being pregnant. My poor husband jumped out of bed and flipped on lights because he heard my crying. I felt like a horrible person crying about being pregnant when so many would be so happy to be in my shoes. I need to get my shit in check.
My spam: have to leave work early today because our new couch is getting delivered, then dinner with my in laws before they leave for a pre-grandbaby cruise. MIL is freaking out that I will have the baby a month early & they won't be here for the birth, but I doubt she's still freaking out once she's in the Caribbean. They did a pre-baby cruise for their other two grandkids as well.

I cant believe Im within 2 weeks of meeting this baby! At work today and headed out at 3:30 for a chiro and pedicure. DH asked if he could play golf on Sunday and I guess I don't care, sure, just leave me with a toddler for 5 hrs when I can barely bend over!
mom2xover2002 Good luck! cginge hope all is well today and it was an isolated incident!

Aww, I'm sorry you had a rough night. I've had a few of those meltdowns too. Totally justifiable. Don't feel like a horrible person. This shit is rough.

Just woke up to about a half or whole cup of liquid between my thighs and when I stand up I'm leaking. Soooooo I think I need to go get checked out. It's going to be really embarrassing if it's just pee though!!!!

Definitely get checked out just to be safe. Keep us posted! Sounds like it could be the real deal. Did it smell like pee?

Last night, I coughed pretty hard. There is a huge difference between peeing and violently and forcefully emptying your bladder. I thought my water broke, but nope.
mom2xover2002 Good luck! T&P for a smooth induction and delivery!
My AWish spam: Yesterday was my last day of work! Today is my normal day off, but as of Monday I'm officially on leave! I had planned to work pretty much up until I delivered, but that seemed like a much better plan at 34-35w. Now I'm just so uncomfortable and exhausted by midday, plus I don't have my own classroom so criss-crossing our large campus has me even more tired. So I decided to just be done. I'll be out for the rest of the school year and all summer, so I'm officially off until mid-August! Woohoo!

Hahaha I know I am hoping to go get checked out without telling anyone other than DH cause I feel like it's entirely possible. But it doesn't look or smell like pee so safety first right?

Oh, and we haven't watched Wednesday night's Top Chef yet and my fingers are ITCHING to click the Top Chef thread. I don't want any spoilers but it's just so tempting. Not knowing anything, but if my girl Mei doesn't make the final, the world is unjust.
Don't click!! Wait until you watch Spoilers abound.
jensoprano82 I would definitely get that checked! And seriously, I've been to L&D three times now for various reasons, and all (except the first) turned out to be false alarms. They are awesome about reminding you that you did the right thing in coming in - it's the one time you don't that something is wrong!
Good luck mom2xover2002. hope your induction goes smoothly.
aggiebug I am currently reading the Edge of Eternity - the 3rd book in the Ken Follett most recent trilogy. It is good - I really liked the other two - but it is GIGANTIC and weighs like 5 lbs. So I need to finish it so I can stop carting it back and forth to work as it is getting to be a struggle
AFM: went to see the musical Newsies last night. Baby seemed to like the music, so I have to start playing more show tunes so she really gets the musical theater love (AND THUS decides to stay in until her EDD because I have Wicked tickets for the night before...)
I am listening to the 2nd book in that series currently the narrator is fantastic as is the book.
I think I am going to pick up a light fluffy book to actually read.
So jealous of you seeing Newsies! I haven't seen it yet. Have you seen Wicked? It is awesome
Actually I have seen Wicked 3 times already in 2 different cities. But, it is one of my favorite, so I really want to see it again Unfortunately, I didn't like the book (or the rest of the series) I don't know - I don't think I liked how the author wrote.

The books are awful the show is worth seeing numerous times. I wonder how the movie is going to turn out. I am hopeful so crazy it's based off the show not the book.
Induction day here! Have to call the hospital at 3pm CST to make sure we still are scheduled for 5pm. My mom and sister will be here later today to watch the kids. Otherwise it's just a sweep, mop, and quick cleaning the house day.
Nervous!! I'll let you know when we go in today! T&P please

This exactly. I am up to 2 visits both false alarms and the 2nd one no one knows about but DH and I.

Yep, I've gone to the ER twice this pregnancy. Once I actually had kidney stones and the 2nd time was a false alarm (I was peeing myself). But you feel SO much better once you go. And we didn't tell any friends/family that we were at the ER until we were being discharged. But you don't have to tell anyone at all.

cginge I agree with @holachica Hopefully it was just your stress level. i know it's hard to relax when there's something like that, but slow deep breathing could help:) At one of my appts my MW took my blood pressure right after talking about how I'm really freaked out about getting another episiotomy. Sure enough, my usual low BP had spiked!
Good luck mom2xover2002 ! Thoughts and prayers for you!
jensoprano82 definitely get checked out for nothing else other than to put your mind at ease. Keep us updated!
lotsofdotts commiserating with you! I cried last night too, just pregnant lady problems. It was nice just to have my husband there to comfort me. I'm glad your husband was so great!
Nothing spam worthy here...at my NST and the nurse thinks he is sleeping so waiting to see if the doctors think I need to have a BPP to check on him. Wake up baby!
