LO is on his way to watching all 5 dvr-ed Sesame Street episodes today. I just feel like such crap, it hurts to move. One day won't kill him.
That was us yesterday. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do to make it through the day. I figure I'm rarely sick so it's not the norm for her. Yesterday was definitely one of those days where I kind of wished I worked so that I had a regular sitter lined up, but we all survived.

I agree with daffy cricket! I wouldn't stress over it... one day is not going to make or break anything, and truly, it's important for you to get healthy. And if that means you need to lay low and have LO hang out watching a dvd, so be it! I've done it too - it's okay! Hope you feel better soon!
I didn't really like Vegas either. I will say however, that I'm glad we went (once) just so I could see what it was about... I get why everyone says you have to go at least once. I would never go back though, and if I had to, I would spend minimal time in the heart of Vegas, and spend all our other time in the awesome parks that are outside of Vegas. I really want to go see The Wave at Coyote Buttes...
Darnit, my image won't show up. Google it... seriously. It's worth it.
Another FFFC, although not juicy... after everything that went down on TB, I can't think of pie the same way. I've had pie the last two days, and I keep wanting to say, "Where do you eat your pie?", or, "come to the new pie place!"! Weird...
I'd also love to see the wave, but I am pretty sure it requires a permit that you have to enter a lottery to get. Crazy!
Another really cool place in northern Arizona is Antelope Canyon (in Page, AZ). Also there is the Glen Canyon Dam, and Horseshoe Bend. You can do a smooth water float down the Colorado river and it is gorgeous!
And because I'm being particularly AWish, I'll share some pics. Seriously - go here. It's so so beautiful!!
Im on team like vegas. I went 3 times when i was single and had a blast and i went once with my hubby when we were dating. There are so many nice restaurants, so many shows and different things to see at each hotel. Im not a big gambler but i like the slots. When i went with my friends we went to clubs every night but when i went with my hubby we only went out once. I think theres a bunch of stuff for everybody to do there.

Oh my gosh those are awesome michelin82!! Yes Antelope Canyon is another similar one I had heard of that looks amazing... Glen Canyon I think I've heard of too... you're pictures are seriously incredible! You are right about The Wave - it does require a permit through a lottery system! DH and I are bound and determined to make it in!!
Also, I hate Vegas. 100% spectacle; all about wasteful consumerism and over indulgence. Too much time spent in enclosed environments with pumped-in oxygen. It's bad for the soul, man.
I guess that's more of a UO. The FFFC based on recent posts on this board is just that I hate the place.
I've never been but I have no burning desire to go. I can think of a million other places I'd rather spend my time and money visiting.
I disliked it so much I gave up my dream job with the EPA to leave. I couldn't deal with the slot machines in the grocery stores.
Editing i have gone back once since leaving and still makes me claustrophobic.
Also not a Vegas fan! I mean, how much time can you spend gambling?
That said, I love all the shows they offer. So we went for one night during our trip to the Southwest solely to see Love. And when I had to go for work, I enjoyed seeing a few shows during that trip, too
I only gambled like $100 each time we went. I just like seeing all the sites, hanging out by the pool, catching a show, etc. It was a good place for a girls' getaway.
Out of all those D-list celebrity reality TV stars, I feel like Spencer Pratt is honestly most likely to have invented the selfie stick. Both for himself and as a way to get rich quick.
I have one... I don't remember the last time I made dinner... like an actual dinner (other than spaghetti or heating up a ready to cook meat thing from the meat counter). I actually got into a really good groove of cooking before G was born, but then all hell broke loose for me in terms of cooking after he arrived.
Truly... I don't get home from work until 5:30 (later during tax season), and then it's a mad dash to feed G, get his stuff from the day put away/get stuff ready for tomorrow/start bedtime routine by 7. When on earth would I find time to cook in there? I don't know how people do it!
I cook at night for the next night. On Sunday I try to cook 2 or 3 meals then I can warm it up during the week. If I don't have time to do it on Sunday then we eat breakfast for dinner (eggs, bacon and grits and a salad) which I can cook in like 10 min on Monday. Then after KJ is in bed I cook Tuesday's dinner on Monday night, Wednesday's dinner on Tuesday night, etc...

This is a lame one. Whenever I see or talk about a coyote I always have to think it through, because I always want to say wolverine or werewolf instead.
I'm afraid of going through birth again. It went so well last time, I'm worried all the things will go wrong this time.
I'm having all those same feels. I'm totally unprepared for it to not go exactly as planned. I'm trying not to think about it and figure I'll just trust the nurses/doctors to react appropriately if something happens, but there's nothing I can do in the meantime to change it one way or another.

I had the same feels, especially because I was GBS+ this time. Everything was fine and perhaps even better than last time! You've got this!
That was my kid out at the restaurant at nearly 10 last night. Eek. Parenting fail.
Not at all - assuming he was happy and not screaming and tantruming.
O's bedtime is 730 on school nights, but we don't keep the strict schedule on weekends. Last night she went to bed at ten and slept till 9. She adjusts well - I know we're lucky.

El is good like that too. She slept in this morning. We lost track of time because she was being so good (and being out with friends) but we definitely got some odd looks heading home!
