So I've only let a few people watch my son and they've been sneaking him things! I saw SO stick a fry in ds mouth and of course I went off about how unhealthy it was lol...
But then on vacation my mom suggested I let ds try a bit of my mashed potatoes. He loved it! He's always trying to take my food now, he has the same expression as Puss in Boots lol. I also did a no-no and gave him a taste of my vanilla ice cream on a cone, and homemade cream. I feel so naughty now :-(
Has any of your cuties coaxed you with those big beautiful eyes to give them something off your plate???
Yes! I was enjoying an ice cream cup and LO saw the colorful spoon, a bit like hers. She jiggle and wiggled in her carseat and stopped fussing. She opened her mouth! There was barely anything on the spoon, but she scraped it along her lips and she licked it off.

DD won't chew yet so she'll gum things and then spit them out. I let her suck on French fries at a restaurant and lick a chocolate chip bagel.
If you have a spoon and small container DD gets all excited and opens her mouth. So she's had yogurt and pudding because I can't not give her very little while I'm eating.
I haven't given him anything unhealthy but he eats whatever I eat throughout the day. He takes a sip or two of my smoothies, we share my yogurt, etc. He won't taste a fry for at least a few years. I am NOT going to have a child that only eats chicken fingers and fries like my niece and nephew. He won't taste it so he won't know he will want it. He can taste it when he is older after he's established a pallet. Neither my husband or I have ever been picky eaters growing up and we both always ate our veggies, etc. Sooo gonna try to not even let him taste it so he won't even request it
No no-no foods, but maybe a few things I hadn't intended on giving her so soon. Baby had some of my smoothie and she gummed some watermelon. Oh! And hummus, which she really seemed to enjoy.
