We had a super fun night. I hosted a dinner party and I am still shocked at the amount of alcohol that was consumed by the group! When DS woke up at 5:45 I was like...
Hey, I'll help us hit the 15+ post goal for the day
I'm stuck at work, just like every other Saturday. My coworker is booked up with appointments all day and I have next to nothing to do...They should just change my title here to office babysitter.
Hola!!!!!! I'll try to be around. H had a guys night so stayed out last night. I slept in the middle of the bed and it was glorious. And dd didn't get up at 6:30 like usual but slept until 8:00
So I mentioned a while back that we were going to move in with my mom for like 6 months to save money. I'm having serious second thought. Last night she got all crazy on me about it (a normal tendency of her), but it really made me question of this will just be the worst 6 months of my life.
I'm here! Post and run back to the yard sale. I also noticed yesterday that we had no FFFC, but I try to stay out of there now anyway, so I wasn't that bummed. I know we kind of talked about it yesterday, but what is everyone doing for Father's Day? I am trying to figure out how to do what DH wants and still spend time with my dad. this is DHs first Father's Day since FIL passed away and I feel like he needs a day just for him. I'm torn.
jellykat2, Hooray for sleeping in the middle of the bed and getting a good nights sleep! As for living with your mom that might be rough but also, hopefully, really worth it. Just make sure you have a solid plan to get out ASAP. We had to move in with MIL a few years ago with the intention of staying for about 3 months and were stuck there for almost a year! I really appreciated her helping us out but what a nightmare! Good luck!
kellrr, Have fun at your yard sale today! I hope you make lost of money!! I thought about starting the FFFC yesterday but after my pathetic attempt to get the UO's going the day before I just did't feel like it. You should totally have started it, everyone just loves your opinions

Hello! I'll add to the thread. DS is eating like a monster at night. We were down to one bottle, then vacation happened and he got up to 3!!! Now he's down to 2 bottles 4-5oz and lots of wake ups in between. If anyone has some ideas, throw them at me.
In other news, I got sucked in to "Wayward Pines", anyone else into that show?
jellykat2 do you need to live with her if you take the job? We lived with FIL for 4 months and I would never ever do it again.
No, we don't need to move in financially. We already gave our landlord a 60 day notice a few weeks ago. Im going to have a talk with my H today about seriously asking if we can forget like we gave them out notice. There would be a lot of perks to moving in with her, I'm just not sure I can go through with this.

Putting up the bat signal for swise22 - My pup has issues and I could use your wisdom!
What can I help you with?
I have a Chihuahua Yorkie mix who has always done this weird wheezing thing when she gets too excited or pulls on her leash. My vet told me it was reverse sneezing...
Over tue past few days I've been waking up to her doing it in the middle of the night and it's happening a lot more during the day too. Otherwise she's been acting completely normal. Just not sure if this is a quirky dog thing or if I should be concerned.

That's a tough one. What does H think?
He was quick to agree with my idea to do this. Probably because he's the most practical human being I know. I think he would also hate being the person that goes back on a 60 day notice (we live in the top floor of our landlords house - so we see them all the time). I'm going to talk to him today about it.

Sounds completely normal Just some reverse sneezing. It's really common in these small breed dogs, especially as the weather changes and allergies start flaring up. It happens most often when they are relaxed or extremely excited. You can try some benadryl (make sure there's no decongestant in it) with a dose of 1 mg/pound. You can give that up to 3 times a day. It may help reduce the incident of it but the good thing is it's not harmful to them. It just sounds really bad when it's happening. My little chihuahua does this too and I just rub her throat until it passes.

Re Fathers Days plan: I will let H sleep in as he is has 2nd shift tonight then when DD goes down to for her first nap I am going to go out and get Dim Sum for him. Breakfast in bed and then just hang out at home. I am not certain what I am cooking but I will come up with something, I will probably do a little video of DD "preparing" breakfast for him as I want to start that tradition. We also did DAD photo shoot and I got him a present. My dad lives North East, and H dad as well so even though I am sad he is far, it makes it easy for the celebration.
Hi ladies! I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
We are still unpacking and making a lot of progress. It's ridiculously hot and my husband failed to warn me that you can't walk outside barefoot. Of course I found out the hard way when I tried to burn off the bottom of me feet getting something out of the car.
Yard sale was a wild success!! For all 4 of us the total was almost $900, and DH and I pocketed almost $400! Jogging stroller here I come! And: DS said Dada! He started saying mama right before Mother's Day, so it's perfect he said dada right before Father's Day!
