Baptism and Party were great but knocked him way off schedule yesterday. Dirty stay out was awake till midnight Saturday after a short snooze. We ended up inside because of the weather but we made it work. Yesterday was an absolute do nothing day. Everything was cleaned up and all I had to do was vacuum and mop. Spent time with my dad, DH had some alone time with the boys and met us at my parents for dinner. Today....jury duty!! It's almost sad that I sound so excited for it but heloooo....an extra hour of baby snuggles, a half hour commute and my job pays in full.....I actually hope I get picked.
littleapplemom GL with jury duty! I would not be excited lol, but I can understand you being excited if you're still getting paid!
I've had a very busy weekend! I had a class reunion and it was a lot of fun, and LO did great. Most people don't have kids yet, so she got a lot of attention. I started feeling sick on Saturday and am still dealing with a sore throat. I hope I don't pass it to LO.
So glad the weekend was a success littleapplemom! Fx for jury duty! My mom gets called and chosen all the time and we can't figure out how/why. I don't want to say how often I've been called because I don't want to jinx it. nerdalert Stop it! You are not supposed to be sick right now! Baby peed on me in bed last night. I knew her cover was too big. Sure enough, when she was laying on her side, it just flowed right out. I changed baby, as well as my shirt, but you know I just laid a towel down and went back to sleep. Obviously.

Golly, my family needs to stay the heck out of my dreams. Last night I had a nightmare that my mother (who I have cut contact with) had found this place and was reading all my posts. GAH. Go away!
M was so worn out from our late night on Saturday and then church on Sunday, he slept more consecutive hours last night than he ever has before.
littleapplemom, GL with jury duty. I've never been called. nerdalert, feel better! zengal, what is it with babies and peeing all over the place?
littleapplemom I don't ever look forward to JD. Baby snuggles still don't make it better.
Hope everyone got some rest and relaxation during the Father's Day weekend.
I pretty much hung out on the kitchen all weekend. Saturday resulted in about a dozen mason jars of various fruit and veggie purees. Yesterday, I made a batch of no bake lactation cookies. DH made us bacon, eggs, and hpme fries for dinner.
Needless to say, the kitchen needs a good cleaning.
wildflower810 we had a busy weekend too and lots of catch up sleep last night! I hope you are able to clear your mind. Maybe some yoga? There are some good momma and baby ones on YouTube to help get back to a better mind frame (I swearMY name should be zengal lol) but seriously meditation and yoga are my go to for pushing the bad stuff out
So it's 10:35 I cleaned my entire first floor, like pull everything out, clean clean clean. Cleaned out the fridge, and made breakfast. Got some things checked off my list and baby is taking a nap now. He slept from 8-11:30 but only needed me to help find his lovey then he woke up again at 5:15! Fed him and he slept again until 8:30! We need to fill our days more so he is pooped out.
It's a hot humid day today so probably won't go outside till way later early evening for our walk.
Me "do not grab M's dishes. Put the water dish down. No, No, No! Stop pouring out M's water." For a baby whose not crawling yet she sure moves around the living room quickly and gets into everything. The poor dog was confused but seems to understand he's not in trouble.
DH is finally mowing the grass. The rain has been crazy and caused our grass to be way too long. We had become those neighbors.
jjh1119 Your day sounds awesome so far! And I would completely share my name with you. That is an excellent suggestion for wildflower810. Do some mindfulness and meditation. Breathe in peace and contentment, breathe out negativity and tension.

Hiiiiii! I'm back from our cabin trip. I'm exhausted and making my way through camping laundry. At least it's not as bad as real camping laundry, which is the worst.

jjh1119 - thank you for asking! I'm feeling pretty well. I get dizzy and tired, but no sickness yet. I'm a little queasy around food though. I'm six weeks along.

nerdalert, hope you feel better! zengal, done the same. What's a lil pee?? wildflower810, uh, had a dream about DH's ex last night and my deceased grandfather the other day. Not cool. Wish these dreams would go away! MsNicole06, I neither get home in time to mow the grass myself! I can't even tell you how excited I am. spiraltheory, my 12yo stepson had a camping trip a month ago and surprisingly enough it wasn't so bad!
On a lunch break. I could get used to this. A beer and a quesadilla at the bar around the corner? Um ok!! Tomorrow I'll bring my lunch and sit by the water if I have to come back. Seriously, better than trecking into work.
Jury duty - I got a letter while on maternity leave but was able to defer because I'm breastfeeding. That might only be an Oregon thing? I did not want to go in. nerdalert I hope you feel better soon! zengal I would have done the same. wildflower810 yay for lots of sleep but boo to nightmares! jjh1119 wow that's some really good sleep!
spiraltheory glad your camping trip went well and that you're feeling pretty good! littleapplemom I want a lunch break like that! My boss did buy me a coffee this morning so that was nice! I'm starting to get really nervous about how much I'm about to start working this summer. I don't know if I can do a few months where Ill more than likely only have one full day a week with LO. If I'm lucky. I could start crying just thinking about it.
I know that I am SO LUCKY, but it seems that I can take Liam asleep in the car to his bed without him fully waking up. He opens his eyes, but I just lay his head on my shoulder and shush while I walk in the door, etc. Hand him his lovey and he goes right back to sleep. Thank goodness. I went to whole foods and he ended up not sleeping on the way in, but rather fell asleep on the way home making his nap way later than normal. He was super awesome at the store and was able to continue his nap. phew!

So our little 1 night getaway with my husbands parents was a disaster and we ended up leaving at 330 this morning. My husband didn't think my issues with staying with people in tight living conditions was as bad as it ended up being. I think I had a panic attack

littleapplemom - Good luck with Jury Duty. If I could do Jury Duty from home I'd take it ANY DAY over my regular job. nerdalert - Sounds like it may have been a 5 or 10 year reunion (since few had kids)? I had my 20 last summer and it was a lot of fun. Nobody is "cool" anymore, so it made for a fun time. zengal - I absolutely have done the same thing. wildflower810 - Ugh to the dreams. I hate that. gldnbearz - What kind of purees did you make?? jjh1119 Dang!! Impressive morning. DH has been watching LO (he hasn't gotten a call for work yet and I'm working) but the last time I went downstairs he was cleaning like a madman while LO was jumping away in his jumperoo. @msnicole06 - Oh those mobile babies ... mine just rolls to whatever he wants. I swear I can no longer blink. spiraltheory - Welcome back! sadie74 - What kind of project are you working on? Sounds intense if it's going to wipe out your summer.
We had a good weekend, spent all day at my brother's house celebrating Father's day with the family. My brother's house is awesome. Huge deck and yard. He and his wife can't have kids, but they are THE BEST aunt and uncle. DH and I were pretty blown away they offered to host (seeing as my brother was on the only guy there who wasn't a father). When we got there my SIL had bought a PNP just to keep there for when LO and my nephew are over. This in addition to toys they keep on hand as well as a high chair. My brother and SIL do so much I kind of want to make up an "Aunts and Uncle Day" and just celebrate them for being so amazing!
ninergirl52 you should definitely make a new holiday! That would be a fun way to show how thoughtful you think they are! jax1182014 have you had a panic attack before in tight living conditions?

jjh1119 they are coming back Friday to stay with us but leaving the next day zengal I've never been good even when I was younger during sleepovers and stuff. I think I just am too private to share a small living space with.
jax1182014 If anything comes of this, I hope YH and his folks have a better understanding of your needs now. Absolutely in order are hugs that respect your personal space. pixie523, I died. But it is so appropriate!
