I don't post her much but I lurk a lot. I have a double Baby Trend Navigator, and my SIL has the Instep Grand Safari. I like both, but each has a downfall.
Navigator:
Loves: it's BIG. I have both my 10 month old and my 2.5 year old in seats and they have plenty of head room and foot room. The basket is amazing. It's HUGE. It has two front jogging wheels so it's steady even with my toddler climbing in and out. Even my 8 year old has never come close to tipping it.
Cons: it weighs 43lbs EMPTY. it's a beast to get in and out of the car. The kids trays are not detachable, so you have to plan room for those in your trunk, too. It's also the widest stroller on the market, so I have encountered doorways I can't get through — mostly bathrooms.
Grand Safari:
Loves: still big seats, but I don't think quite as big as as the Navigator, but still plenty of head and for room. Likewise, the basket isn't quite as big, but it's still a good size. Single front wheel. It's lighter than the Navigator. SIL can get in and out of her Tahoe easily. She hasn't had any doorway issues like I have.
Cons: single front wheel. Ds was playing with one in BBB and almost tipped it over trying to climb in. For me, the smaller basket and seats are a con.
thanks! This is so helpful. Do you have any comments on either stroller and their usability on packed gravel trails?
Honestly, you can probably find a used double in good condition for under $300. Keep an eye on the mom swaps by you. If you're a member of any running groups like Moms Run This Town, you can probably get a good one for a really decent price from a mom on there who's littles have outgrown the stroller.

Can I just say I commend your effort? I think if I had 2 kids I'd be happy enough to get them in ANY stroller at the same time, let alone go jogging. Hats off
