So baby woke up before my alarm again. Only 10 minutes this time. But she proceeded to bite me instead of latch. I screamed; she cried. I inspected the site and I'm bleeding! I have a vampire baby
zengal Ouch! I'm sorry. This lo bit me a couple of days ago and I wanted to cry.
Sorry I haven't been around this week. Life has been crazy. I haven't slept well this week because lo doesn't think he needs it. My four year old also has been getting up in the motn, which he hasn't done for a few years. I'm not sure what's going on, but I would like to sleep!

zengal, owie!! Funny, I downloaded a picture app that allows you to modify pics and put them in a template, my LO looks scary as hell as a vampire!! l8rg8r, boo for no sleep, hope the weekend is better.
Last day of school for the kids around here which will make my stinking commute easier. I'm about 40 minutes ahead of schedule at the moment, I might actually make it on time!! It so weird how traffic here works(or doesn't work!!) SS's sleepover is tomorrow...hmmmm, do I cook for me, DH and LO?? Or should we go out? I always feel a little bad doing things without SS when he's out or with his mother, stepmom guilt I guess, but I'm always afraid he'll feel left out and resentful if we do. On the other hand, can't stop life because of his schedule and LO should get to do things too. Bah, just babbling here I guess. Hope everyone has an awesome day!
zengal gah! That is not how I'd want to start my day. Uncool lady baby.
littleapplemom you're so thoughtful of SS feelings! I didn't not have such a great step parent experience as a kid and it makes my heart warm to see.
Last day of work and then I'm on vacation! H and I took the week off together but aren't going anywhere. LO will still go to the sitters per normal and on my usual wfh day we'll still have our girl come in. No big plans other than eating a fancy lunch and maybe seeing a movie?
littleapplemom you sound like a great stepmom. Go to dinner take the night off from cooking.
zengal sounds painful. Hopefully LO won't bite you again.
l8rg8r hopefully you'll get some sleep this weekend.
pixie523 enjoy your vacation. We're sending DD to MILs when ever she's off this summer.
I've accepted that DDs schedule has shifted some because when we stay up late with her neither of us get up early to wake her up and be closer to our school and daycare schedule.
Someone (LO) has a pretty stuff nose and the dramatics are HIGH this morning. Girl, you have a bubble made of boogers on your face. I have not insulted you. No need to scream!
My step mother in law just picked up Liam. And I'm having a panic attack. I am trying to calm down. I have to work Fridays now and she bought a car seat (got it professionally installed) she's been watching him while I am home the last couple months. But I'm still freaking out over this change.
I KNOW he is in great hands. She is wonderful with him. I don't know. They only live like 20 min away. Maybe it's the driving? Maybe it's the fact that he isn't at home? I don't know. He goes to my moms house once or twice a week and I'm totally fine with it. Gah!
Sorry just rambling but I'm seriously hyperventilating and crying right now

jjh1119, I know how you feel. My mom is using a car seat from my niece. Totally regulation safe and installed but....taking my baby out and not telling me where you're going?? Not happy about it. She doesn't tell me anything most of the time, I end up finding out when she tells DH when he picks the kids up. It's pretty infuriating. Maybe just ask her to let you know when she's taking Liam out in the car? If only my mother would I'd feel better about it.
Thanks pixie523,and MsNicole06,. He's had it rough, long story short his mother lives really far away, sees him maybe once a month and he has had abandonment issues about it since she left. Always confused or upset or blamed himself. Now that he's older it's eased up a bit but I still never want to add to that...just makes things hard sometimes :/
jjh1119, deep breaths! liam is in good hands, and i'm sure your step MIL is being very cautious and safe. Are you close enough with her that you could call to check in? Let her know the change is hard for you?
littleapplemom step MIL texts me all throughout the day and tells me the details I think I'm just a control freak who doesn't like change. She definitely would never do anything without my approval. Still just nervous anytime I do something new I think.
As far as your SS I think going out is okay since he is doing something fun. But maybe have something special when he comes home tomorrow too? Like ice cream or something simple but fun?
pixie523 I told her I was nervous and she already texted me that they are home safe, like I said above just a nervous nelly to change. I think that couple with I don't know what is going on with H, just made it worse.

Drive by post today: we have a biter. He started biting me during nursing sessions and I am finding it hard to enjoy nursing. I wonder if MIL is letting him bite the bottles again. I am definitely going to investigate.
Also how amazing is the supreme court ruling?! I am so happy for all of the people waiting for a lifetime for marriage equality!! :-)
+1 on having a biting baby, wtf! Thank God she doesn't have teeth yet (she's working really hard on one tho) but it still hurts. Yesterday she kept grabbing my boob/nipple really hard and it's definitely bruised.
jjh1119 I totally understand being nervous about all that, it's so hard to have anyone else watch lo...even if you know they are well taken care of! Hope your H is ok!
pixie523 yay for vacation! Hope your day goes by fast

+1 more to a biting baby. Those dang teeth. We were up at all hours of the night last night with a crying baby... turns out he's cutting not one but two teeth at the same time. He bites my shoulder too when I pick him up. Not cool, kid.
jjh1119, I missed what's going on with YH. I hope everything is okay.
I saw tiny bits and pieces of the A15 shit show. Golly.
I am freaking the heck out that I might be pregnant. Every time I smell something funny I'm like "oh no." I need to calm way down, but I can't. Where are my ute goggles when I need them?

Has anyone seen the PSA video going around about the baby left in the car? I feel like I need to call bullsh**t. Seriously, the video makes me get all teary eyed and a little ragey. Mom goes into the store, leaves baby awake and alone in the car while she strolls the supermarket? Two women see the baby in the car, one just leaves after she checks her makeup and the other checks the doors while the baby screams then just leaves? I know the actual video isn't real but...but....need a tissue.
songbirdsinging55kfayezengal I was watching LO drink from the bottle this morning and all the while twisting to look around and letting go then re-latching on the nipple. I had to ask myself if I hated EPing less or if I'd give up BFing at that point (moot point since LO doesn't BF).
Oh man, I'm sad that there are so many biting babies! This is my worst nursing fear realized. Baby only has half a tooth right now! Alright, vaca pixie523! I hope it truly is restorative. You didn't insult LO, good for you! I might have had mild mockery happening in a booger bubble situation. wildflower810 ute goggles! They need to patent those. littleapplemom DNW to see that PSA!

Hey ladies - Drive by posting here. I've been slammed with work. I'm not looking forward to having a biter on my hands. My LO doesn't have teeth yet and I'm hoping he just doesn't put 2 and 2 together or that may put a serious damper on BF'ing. Speaking of which does anyone's LO's do have funny habits while BF'ing? Mine HAS to have one foot up on the other boob. It's hilarious as he looks a little contorted when he does it, but its as though BF'ing cannot commence unless he starts out with that foot resting on my boob. Silly kid! It eventually slides down when he falls asleep, but it is the weirdest thing to me.
Time to rant about skinny jeans. They are just not made for all bodies. In order to fit my calves and thighs, the waist is loose. When I flex my knees, the pant legs pull up but don't flow back down without a little tug. How annoying. Old Navy Rocstar pants, I'm talking about you.
ninergirl52 When we bottle feed at the kitchen table, LO has to put her feet up on the table. It's a banquet bench, so I can't push the chair back from the table. She's been kicking her heels against the table since she was a few months old.

I didn't insult here here. Or in any way she would've realized. She doesn't get my humor.
