It's 8am here, DH and SS are off on a scouting mission and I'm in bed squishing my little because he is a dear and went back to sleep after he woke at 6:30. This is fricking awesome!!! Not sure what to do with myself after he wakes up. Park? Just out in the yard? Long walk? I know I'm totally screwing with his schedule right now and I should be up doing something productive but I don't care!!! Momma needs some squishes!! I can't be sure but I think Mikey is getting his "B" sound down and copying us. When SS was leaving for school yesterday I said "Mikey, say bye bye brother" and he kinda went "bu bu bu". I think he also tried "BaBa" yesterday at dinner. You guise, we're all going to have talkers soon!!!

I went to bed at 10, baby woke up to nuse at 10:40. Then H got up, used the bathroom, AND FLUSHED THE TOILET at 2:40... cue awake baby. GRRRR. Then he was up and ready to play at 6:00 am. NOT OKAY DUDES.
We were going to go for a walk this morning... but it's pouring. Awesome.
We have a wedding later today and I'm excited for a reason to dress up and do my hair. Not sure how M is going to handle it since it's smack dab in the middle of nap time, but we'll deal.
My parents are coming into town for the weekend so that my Dad can play with DD. Last weekend he had too many things needing to get done on the house so he told mom they needed to come back this weekend.
DD only woke up once but DH handled it, so it wasn't so bad in my opinion.

littleapplemom, I swear Levi said "bye bye" the other day. So exciting!!!!!
wildflower810, Isn't it crazy how excited we get when we actually have a reason to get dressed up LOL. Have fun at the wedding today!
So... I've never had eczema except when I was pregnant and it was right over my eye. Well I should have gotten my period last Wed (course it would have only been my second one) and now I have that pregnancy eczema over my eye... ut oh. I'm gonna hold off POAS until next week. It's probably nothing, but we definitely weren't planning on this yet.

singingmama10, my second PP period didn't show up until 2.5 months after my first period. Are you bfing? That can make your cycles wonky for a while, so I wouldn't worry too much about just the "missed" period.
Ugh. I have spent all morning cleaning up baby vomit. LO has puked 4 times this morning. Most of it has been on me, but he also got DH once. Now I am sitting on a towel nursing a freshly bathed baby who is wearing only a diaper.
littleapplemom sounds like an awesome morning! wildflower810 the other morning DH was up early at 5 doing some watering. With the faucet outside that is almost directly by baby's crib. Thanks. Have fun at the wedding! MsNicole06 have fun with your parents! singingmama10 I've heard it takes a while to get regular again. FX you get what you want. sjp03 I hope LO starts feeling better soon! That sounds awful. I swear DD knows when it's the weekend or I have a day off because she wakes up extra early. It was only 6:20 so I can't complain too much. DH is at work all day and it's supposed to 100 here today. We might have to go buy a kiddy pool! Thank goodness we have AC.
Snot baby won't nap (or sleep) because she's too snotty. Poor lady.
pixie523 just getting over this! Leave her in the bathroom while you take a hot shower and take saline drops and really squirt them up there. It lasted a few days for us and it was so sad. Hope she feels better soon

My sister has officially come out to whole family thanks to the Supreme Court ruling. She went off on facebook (clearly someone said something to her) and if anyone didn't know they do now. I am so happy that her and her fiancé can get married anywhere and its recognized everywhere. I'm also proud of how articulate she was with her point.
Ugh LO hasn't kept anything down today. I have lost count of the number of times he's vomited. His temperature is climbing - it was 99.8 when checked about an hour ago and 100.6 now. It isn't high to a worrisome degree but not heading in the right direction. His temperament has bounced from a sluggish-normal to sleepy to fussy. At what point do I call the doctor?

If your baby is lethargic or sluggish they could be dehydrated so I don't think it would hurt to just call and get some guidance. Hope he feels better soon

I called right after posting. The nurse told us what kind of dehydration signs to be on the lookout for. I just got him to nap. Poor kiddo.
Snotty and pukey babies need to get better right away! We just had some cousin photos done. The photographer showed us a few and they are sooo cute! I can't wait to get them back. Have a super Saturday everyone!

Noooooo sick babies! I hope whatever bugs they have go away quickly.
Holding my napping boy, even though I have a sneaking suspicion that it's contributing to his crappy night time sleeping. . I can't help it! I love nap snuggles.
MsNicole06 - Yay for your sister! Yesterday was a wonderful day for equality!

It is so hot here right now (90's) and most people don't have AC in the Pacific NW. We picked up a portable ac and have a window unit. We shut my office and lo's room as they get the most sun. Lo has been sleeping in the pnp in our room. He's been Limey and had diarrhea the last 24 hours or so. So I'm only breastfeeding him and giving him water. Wondering if he's dehydrated. He seems happy otherwise. Just trying to beat the heat. Took him to the lake yesterday and will get out the kiddie pool today. Enjoy your weekend all!!
Edited to say I have no idea what I was trying to say when I ended up with Limey! Ha!
I just did 7 weddings in two days. I am soooo tired! Hanging out with Liam while H is at the gym now. He seems to be having a teething day today poor guy.
Hi everyone! I tried tagging yesterday but wasn't able to finish:-( I hope all the little ones feel better sick babies are no fun.
I hope everyone is finding wYs to stay cool as well. It has been raining all day in DC so we have been stuck in the hotel but it hasn't been bad. It is actually nice just to hang out.
I have been holding Max for all of his naps and it is glorious :-)
Our trip is going well we are mainly here to see sil and bil so no big plans as we have been here several times before. We are going to take lo to the national zoo on Monday if it is nice!
He went most of the afternoon without vomiting. I was even able to feed him and he kept it down. Even though he was still quite sluggish, we started thinking that he was getting better. Then he puked again. And again. He had been really fussy this evening. We just got him to sleep. I am exhausted and this is probably going to be a long night.

Omg! Poor you guys and poor little man! I really hope everything settles down for you guys.
This is the worst. LO slept very well last night and solid I. We woke up around 7 and I feed him. Shortly after he vomited. I checked his temp - 101. He vomited a couple more times. I call the on-call nurse. Same advice as yesterday - we just have to let this stomach bug run its course and do what we can to prevent dehydration. LO is fussy. DH and I are both stressed out and we feel so helpless. We have gotten a little snippy with each other.
To top it all off I have to take an exam tomorrow as part of my professional certification. This exam is insanely difficult (historically the pass rate has been around 60%) and this weekend was supposed to consist of me studying a lot. This sucks...
