If we're talking absolute "omg get that away" aversion I'd have to say booze. Which is convenient. Thinking of the smell makes my stomach roll. As for cravings beyond the standard "damn red robin sounds amazing." Nothing I have serious doubts about pregnancy cravings being everyday common. Maybe once a trimester, but not often.
What are your current food aversions? any chicken that isn't chicken strips/chik fil a, salads, cereal, donuts, any kind of chunk of meat (steak, pork chop), eggs of any kind
What are you currently craving? I had a corn dog/tater tots/strawberry shake yesterday because of a craving - what kind of dietitian am I?? Otherwise: cold fruit, fettuccine alfredo, sushi, strawberry shakes almost daily, cold lemonade or other agua frescas, Topo Chico but anything carbonated wrecks my stomach
I asked hubby to bring home steak the other night because meat sounded so good. If our RR wasn't 30 minutes away and we weren't trying to stay away from eating out so much, we would have been going for Red Robin.
Cravings: McDonald's. I'm trying not to cave but a Big Mac and fries would really make me cry tears of joy. A lot of sweets sound so so so good. Major sweet tooth!
Now I must have a Big Mac for lunch. I haven't had one of those in YEARS and it sounds SO GOOD!

I may or may not have eaten Big Macs for lunch twice last week.

Most of my aversions/cravings are changing on a daily/hourly basis right now, which makes life interesting.
I'm mostly averse to meat, except the idea of a perfect medium rare steak makes me happy in theory. Seafood (with the random exception of crab) is positively vom-inducing.
I would love to have an aversion to booze like lazyreader, but sadly I'm over here sighing pathetically over the lack of red wine in my life these days.
As for cravings, definitely craving fruit and fresh broccoli w/ ranch dip. Plus carbs, for example, my pizza, bagel, mac&cheese diet from last week.

I'm trying not to worry too much about healthy right now. I eat healthy when I can, but if McDonalds is the only thing that sounds the least bit appetizing, that's what I eat. Better to eat that, than not be able to eat anything.

This thread is making me so hungry and now I'm craving McD's French fries. I just had some on Saturday, but I have always loved them even before being pregnant.
allegro55, I had the same problem with water last time. I had to make sure it was ice water or bottled water in order to choke it down! My aversions are just starting… It is more the smell of certain things like onions or just opening the refrigerator! I wish I had an aversion to sweets like I did with my son but no such luck!
chickadee, hoping you don't have the water aversion this time around! An aversion to sweets would be great, especially if it continued past pregnancy...
allegro55 I had an aversion to water almost my entire pregnancy last time! I could sometimes tolerate sparkling water, which I normally hate. It was the weirdest, and most inconvenient, aversion.
I can't imagine this continuing for nine months... You would think our crazy bodies would realize that water is our friend.
I made cinnamon toast for breakfast and regretted it after the first bite. Ugh... stupid nausea. Instead, I'm sucking on a preggie pop hoping it helps.
I had cinnamon toast for breakfast. My stomach enjoyed it

I don't have any specific aversions or cravings. Nothing sounds good so I just have to randomly choose something and go with it. Once I decide what to make, it starts to sound good and I get excited, but then it doesn't taste as good. It doesn't make me nauseous, it's just like my taste buds are off. I was the same way with DS during 1st tri, so I'm looking forward to it ending.
I started the food aversions thread on J16 yesterday morning (prior to finding out my new EDD), but in the last 24 hours so much has changed haha. Right now I feel like everything will make me throw up. I had a bad stomach bug over the weekend so still recovering from that.
Aversions: ground beef, chicken, watermelon and other fruits, Ritz crackers, chocolate, Nutella
Cravings: I've kind of been craving sausage mcmuffins from McDonald's the last few days.
I might have to start making a bunch of crock pot meals to minimize touching and prepping meat, and maybe that will help. I'm also eating lots of Bicks Sweet Yum Yum pickles. Not craving them though, they just help alleviate nausea for me.

I haven't had too many aversions and my appetite's pretty normal, except sometimes at dinner time I'm hungry but nothing sounds good. Is anyone else experiencing that too?
The thought of broccoli was making me gag the other day, but I think that's passed.
@subtlegraneur that was me when I was pregnant with DS... It got progressively worse until I couldn't even think about it through all of second tri without gagging. The biggest problem was I craved KFC biscuits, but couldn't get close enough to buy them due to poultry problems... It was a conundrum.

I've been doing ok, with occasional bouts of nausea. Eating lots of fruit and drinking all the water. Not too many aversions, but it seems like every night I make meat for dinner and can only eat about half before it grosses me out and I make DH finish it. Weird.
I just had a bagel with cream cheese and raisins. I texted H a picture and he said gross. I say delicious. To be fair I used to do that as a kid so it's not just a pregnancy thing for me
Add burgers to my list of aversions.... MH & I went to lunch after our first u/s today and I ordered what I thought were mini grilled cheese sandwiches with fries & salad. Apparently I didn't read the menu correctly and they were actually 2 mini cheeseburgers. I couldn't take the sight or smell of them and had to ask for something else! I felt really bad for the waitress, but I probably would have puked if I forced myself to eat them!
TTC since October 2013 DX: PCOS, Anovulation, Insulin Resistance Med TI #1: Clomid 50mg, 100mg & Ovidrel = BFN Med TI #2: Clomid 100, 150mg & Ovidrel = BFN Med TI #3: Letrozole 5mg- cycle cancelled due to no response by CD13, no trigger
Add me to the group that eats something that sounds good and then feels like I am going to be sick after and regret eating at all!
I think I have night sickness bc my nausea gets worse from 4p.m on...
So breakfast has been my favorite meal bc it happens before I feel so yucky. But not healthy breakfast...sausage and biscuit is the best with a side of cold milk.
I am also hating water right now but trying to force it down...and I drank lots of water before pregnancy.
I don't have any real aversions, or cravings. But what sounds good needs to be eaten immediately...all of it. Breakfast has been peanut butter toast the last two weeks or so. I'm a menu planner, so I'm struggling with dinner not sounding so good.
