I either want everything right away, or nothing at all and the thought of food is gross. It's a fine line.
Aversions to hummus and yogurt (bummer, two of my staples!). Even just typing those words makes me feel gaggy. We specifically went to a restaurant this weekend because I wanted their deviled eggs (side to my mac and cheese, duh), but when they came out, I had to give them to my friend and husband because EW.
Craving- whatever doesn't sound gross at the moment. Macaroni and cheese has been a godsend(and by that, I mean I've had it 3 times in the past week )

My cravings have been so random. I can't keep anything in the house because my cravings/aversions change every single day. First I wanted sweet potatoes, then fruit smoothies, corn dogs, cucumbers, Chex mix, and now beef ramen noodles (which we DO NOT keep in the house but I'm considering making DH bring me some).
Yesterday I really wanted some turkey sausages but they were frozen. I thawed them out and cooked them tonight and absolutely cannot bring myself to eat one. I also now have 87 sweet potatoes just sitting in the basket staring at me. DNW.

I randomly started craving sweets tonight. This was after eating dinner and not really enjoying it an hour before the craving. No ice cream in the house or candy that I like. Bummer.

Yes! My fridge/pantry are so full right now. I need to pare down the grocery shopping because what sounds good on shopping day doesn't sound good later in the week.

OMG, me too! I had to make a Target run and came home with a bag of dark chocolate covered almonds. Half the bag is gone

So meltdowns over food are fun!
I wasn't hungry. Then all of a sudden I was starving. So we walked to the grocery store (close) and bought stuff but nothing looked good. Got home and couldn't decide and my husband said I needed to take better care of myself (meaning avoid getting to this stage of hunger) and I had a meltdown crying and cursing my hormones. So we went to the pizzeria in my neighborhood and got a slice, it wasn't great although it's normally my fave. Literally no food sounded good at all. No food in the whole world. But at least I ate and am back to normal.
Moral: don't get too hungry or you'll scream into your fridge and yell at your cat.

This is part of pregnancy- it's not about not taking care of yourself by letting yourself get to this point of hunger. It's completely normal to want something one minute and be repulsed by it the next, Mr Britterrs!!

I'm to the point where something sounds delicious, but then my stomach has second thoughts and I am repulsed by the though. Pair that with being ridiculously hungry all the time and it sucks big time!
I'm really craving this amazing cabbage soup that I've made before. I even bought some cabbage at the store last week bc I've been thinking about it so much. The only problem is that I have zero energy or motivation to actually make said soup. I'm willing to pay cash to anyone who could come over and make it for me.
mishy2010 now I want cabbage soup... Do you have a recipe? Or is it just an invention? I'm at that phase where nothing sounds good in my house. And then someone mentions something and I have to have it. Although my motivation to make it is probably none as well...

I found the recipe around St Patrick's day. It's super easy to make. Just takes some prep time for chopping which feels like an eternity right now.

I just bought $30 worth of frozen meals. Half of them were mac and cheese.
Is anyone actually able to follow the "eat a healthy, full balanced diet and exercise regularly"? If you are, what is your secret? Are you some sort of pregnancy goddess?

I've come to the conclusion that it's impossible. When I was pregnant with DD, I ate pb&j, mac n cheese, and pop tarts all of the time. Apparently, being pregnant turns me back into a 5 year old.

YAAAASSSS!!! All i've eaten is stuff I would make for kids I babysit. I also get extremely winded now and exercise is a complete chore. I still go walking but I had to stop the other exercises I was doing.

I'm living off pizza, pasta and bagels and haven't been to yoga in weeks so I'm certainly no pregnancy goddess. And I don't much care to work to change the trend right now.
