I'm so jealous of the beach drinking! I'm stuck in line at the atm. I'm about to cut someone. If your transaction takes more than 3 minutes, you need to go inside the bank, asshole. Which is exactly what I would do if I didn't have DS in the car. Also, SIL is coming early this week, and I need to get home and hide our filth from her!

Friday I was in a glass case of emotions about DH. I "think" we have moved passed it.
Saturday I had my mentoring activity and stayed off the social media
Sunday my baby developed a nice cold so he refused to nap from 10 am until 2:30 (no biggie) and then from 3 -7. He was quite the hot mess last night. He cried like a freaking newborn but I remained calm and fixed him.
Apparently, bath time and bottle was not good enough so I took that little booger outside and he was instantly happy. WTF?
Andplusalso, We went to Sam's yesterday to get formula for B and DH was all like "This is the second to last time we will have to do this" since our supply last a month plus....dude. Our babies will be eating real food all the time one day.
Just catching up..working less hours means less time to play on phone at work. Haha. Just threw out some love tits. apk4 yay for STTN boo to insensitive people. americanninjamommy happy anniversary.
After getting DD from daycare she fell asleep before we even leaving parking lot. So I guess me getting her early allowed another nap..hopefully a pleasant baby this evening!
DD has been a super crab since we got home from daycare tonight. I just fed lil notch some sweet potatoes which appeased her and then she called me Dada for 15 minutes.
DH is mowing our lawn and I am eating kettle corn.
Eta: I want to know who the heck taught him to mow. So inefficient. I pwn the lawn when I mow.
My baby is getting molars!!! WTF!! No wonder he has been super crabby lately. He already put himself to bed though so I'm drinking wine while DH goes on some stupid bar crawl. On a Monday night. Is that a thing?

OMG l think our toddler just got those lol. Our baby finally has one bottom front tooth that I can feel a tiny bit at 8.5 months.

Your baby is a shark! The bar crawl sounds made up. At least you get wine! Poor babe, though!

Haha! Both DH and I have dads that are very specific on how to mow, so I'm sure when we finally have a lawn, it will be dope!
I think we may have a tooth. It makes no sense though, because it's way too far over to be a central incisor. According to the charts, she shouldn't be getting a lateral incisor or canine yet on the bottom, and they should come after the first two bottom teeth anyway. I'm so confused.

He seriously is. He got his first two teeth at 3 months and they just keep popping through like crazy. I feel so bad for him. DH is a teacher and apparently one of them is retiring which prompted the bar crawl. Even though they're all off for the summer, I still don't get doing it on a Monday night. Oh well, more time for wine and crappy tv alone.
Does anyone let their LO sleep with blankets? DS is obsessed with his swaddle blanket and has to hold it at all times to sleep. I usually wait until he's in a deep sleep and pull it out of the crib but lately he's been waking up in a panic searching for it. When is it safe to let them just have it for the night?

K sleeps with a small crocheted blanket. She is super mobile and could move or pull it off her face if she needed to. She still sleeps in a merlin suit though so maybe I'm not the person to listen to. She is going to college in that stupid suit.

DS is super mobile as well. He can crawl anywhere and is almost standing unassisted so I feel he's big enough to sleep with it. I just can't stop worrying when it's in there.

Does he like any that are more breathable? Might help with the worry a little.

They're those Aden and anais blankets so the super thin ones. He just makes me nervous because he grabs them and hugs them to his face.

I'm easy going with many things but I'm neurotic about having nothing in the crib for awhile. We gave our older son a toddler sized pillow and light blanket around 18 months. We use sleep sacks.
could you try to replace it with a crocheted type blanket with holes? I would be way less worried about that vs a solid blanket.

i may be over the top with my thinking here
I tried that a while ago but he wanted no part of it. He loves the feel of the swaddle ones. I'm also neurotic about the crib too which is why it's so hard. I may go back to trying the crotched type again and see if he'll tolerate it now.

Honestly, I would probably let him have it but K is a donkey and I get desperate. I'm not sure what the actual age is though but we probably aren't there yet.

Nope. I want to give DS a blanket but I'm way too scared about SIDS. Then again, my parents remind me all the time I slept with one as a newborn. 12 months is the safe age.

Oh Em gee you guise. I spent the evening with two other couples and 6 kids age 1-7 and it was pure INSANITY. Nonstop screaming and running and hitting and moar screaming. One and done is sounding like a great idea right now.

I believe they say at 12 months. But I think generally once babies are able to roll both ways and strong enough to hold up their heads and move them they are fine. Although, I'm also neurotic. I want to start giving dd something to sleep with but worry even though she's probably be fine, so I totally get where you're coming from.
