Well, I left the other place to join the ladies that make me comfortable...and to get away from that sh*t show. I was fenderbot over there too, but I thought I would re-intro here because I wasn't a super active member, but had really started to be more active over the past couple of weeks before the sh*t hit the fan. I plan to continue to be more active here instead.
First, thank you 3T regs for starting this new place for us to go to for support and to give advice. It means a lot that you care enough to start another community to continue the greatness that you had/have going on. I feel like there's just this special bond, even though I was a long-time lurker...and I'm so happy that there's still a place to go that's comfortable with amazing ladies that can relate to this hell that is infertility.
Here's my history:
Both DH and I are 32 and we've been TTC since September 2013. I've had irregular cycles since coming off of birth control...I also had NO clue about my body and cycles until I discovered 3T and Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I had a chemical pregnancy in June 2014. Then did two rounds of unmonitored Chlomid prescribed by my GYN and learned from you wonderful ladies how dangerous that is...so I got myself to a RE.
After our initial tests with the RE, my blood work, ovaries, uterus, and tubes are normal and clear. I do have low vitamin D, but now I'm taking 4000 IUs daily. My DH's first SA came back abnormal--low everything (but they said it felt "chilled" when he brought it in.) They re-tested and only his count came back low (2.5 mil.) RE referred us to a Urologist for further testing/guidance. RE won't do anything further until we meet with the Urologist.
Currently we're just awaiting that Urologist appointment (the second results just came back, so DH hasn't set up an appointment yet) and I'm in the 2ww. I'm just looking forward to being a more active part of this community. Thanks for all of your support over the past few months!
Oh, and if anyone has any insight as to what DH can expect for his first Urologist visit, that would be greatly appreciated...he's understandably anxious and nervous.
