I'm feeling the same way right now with hating pregnancy. I don't remember early pregnancy being this bad last time but I had a horrible 3rd tri with DD. FX these two pregnancies just flip flopped and I'll have a better end with this one.
My confession: I have not eaten a single vegetable in the past week. Cold cereal, chips and dip, and scrambled eggs have been my rotating meals. I'm hoping my trip to the farmers market tomorrow morning will change that.

I used to be a huge veggie eater before I was KU. Now I can't even stand the sight. I have a beautiful garden that's going to waste because I don't want to eat any of it.
My H makes his own hot sauce, and this fetus thinks it's the best shit ever so I've been putting it on everything lately. Breakfast today was chips and hot sauce.
My secret is coffee. Screw this no caffeine thing. I NEEDZ IT!
This is something I never understand. I have never been told not to have caffeine but to limit it to 200mg a day. No way in hell I could give it up completely!
FFFC: I make banana bread often. I give one loaf to my dad, and we eat the other. I put chocolate chips in it, cause, you know, why not? I get a call a few weeks ago from Dad, thanking me for my awesomeness and banana bread. Then, he says, if I want to make my evil step mother happy, to make my bread without the chocolate.
I don't make it for HER.
I've made it with chocolate, on purpose, since. And laugh when he picks it up.
I fell in love with a stroller today. The stroller plus the car seat is going to cost more than one month's rent. I loves it so much though.
I just bought an all in one convertible car seat. I'm so happy! . Which one did you pick out?
The UPPAbaby Vista with the Mesa car seat. We went to Buy Buy Baby to wander around and they had a bunch of the strollers out. I've been drooling over it since I've been TTC but I couldn't justify the cost. We tried it out and it is so freaking easy to use and looks so nice. It also can support up to three kids so we will never have to buy another stroller. It also comes with a bassinet which is better for a newborn and is sleep safe so they can spend the night in it. I haven't seen the Mesa yet because the 2015 model is still not out. The only downside I was able to find, for the Mesa, was that it was heavy, like really heavy compared to others. uppababy.com/vista/overview/

We are seriously considering a 4 in 1 instead of the Mesa. What made you decide on this one. There are so many options out there I have like heart palpitations thinking about it. I just want something safe, practical, and is a value for the money spent. What are you doing for a stroller?

I liked the idea of only needing one. Stick it in the car and you're good to go until your kid is like 16. I wasn't particularly set on one with a detachable carrier (I'm not good with the technical names for all this shit yet) because I will be baby wearing more often than not. We will probably still buy multiple car seats (one for my car, one for H's truck, and one for the nanny), but I like the idea of them being 4-in-1's.

The writer of a blog I read has the Mesa and she complained about how heavy it is. I would recommend getting the chicco key fit and the adapter for the vista. I have the chicco and it is a great car seat and not too heavy. I have the baby jogger city select that is very similar to the vista, but I just got it recently. I wish I would have gotten it in the first place to be honest so I think you're making a smart decision getting a convertible stroller.

The benefit of the infant car seat is that if the baby falls asleep on the drive, you can leave them in the seat and don't have to wake them up. With a convertible you have no choice.

Yeah I was thinking of the chicco as well because it will save us some money, but is just as safe. That or the 4 in 1. Thankfully I have a while before we need to make a final decision. lol

I thought about that but I think I'm okay with that. Like I said, I plan to use wraps and baby carriers often, so I feel like the seat wouldn't get used much. I may change my mind after I actually have a tiny human to carry around, though.

Yep. That's true. Just a heads up, some babies HATE to be worn so I hope that's not the case with yours.

Some babies also refuse to sleep in the car. We can only prep ourselves so much and do the best we can with what knowledge we have.
I don't mind pregnancy. Yes, there are lots of bad things but there are good things that make up for it. No, I don't like to be exhausted and out of breath, but I like not having acne for a while and feeling a baby kick. I wouldn't want to be pregnant all the time, but for 9 months it's ok.
DS HATED his car seat. Hated. We are just doing a 4 in 1 convertible with this one. I feel like it's a better value.
Also Chicco FTW. I love their stuff.
This made me laugh because MH wanted the Chicco today and I wanted the Graco. We ended up going with the Graco because they seemed pretty comparable, but I liked the look of the Graco better. If he was reading this he would be loving that someone else liked his choice.

I'm seriously impressed with all of you for having made decisions about what strollers and car seats to buy already. I'm not even thinking about it yet!

Same here! I did browse through Lucies List one day, but I haven't started picking out any gear yet. I'm still a bit guarded though, I haven't purchased anything for the baby yet.
