I'm seriously impressed with all of you for having made decisions about what strollers and car seats to buy already. I'm not even thinking about it yet!
I'm hoping that one big purchase each month will help with our budgeting and mean that we won't have to put anything on credit.

I'd recommend buying a gift card to the store you want instead of an actual item because then you can shop sales or wait until you have a registry completion coupon. That way you can still budget.
This plan was recommended from the stm's on my last bmb. Actually they said to do it instead of stocking up on diapers in case one kind does't work, but same difference.

We have the Britax B-Agile stroller (I think that's the name) for DD and have loved it. It's light weight and super easy to open and close. There is an attachment you can buy if you get an outside brand infant carrier so you can snap it in. If you get a Britax carseat, it snaps right in.
DS HATED his car seat. Hated. We are just doing a 4 in 1 convertible with this one. I feel like it's a better value.
Also Chicco FTW. I love their stuff.
This made me laugh because MH wanted the Chicco today and I wanted the Graco. We ended up going with the Graco because they seemed pretty comparable, but I liked the look of the Graco better. If he was reading this he would be loving that someone else liked his choice.
One of my friends and I joke that Chicco should pay us for all the love we spread for them.
The benefit of the infant car seat is that if the baby falls asleep on the drive, you can leave them in the seat and don't have to wake them up. With a convertible you have no choice.
I thought about that but I think I'm okay with that. Like I said, I plan to use wraps and baby carriers often, so I feel like the seat wouldn't get used much. I may change my mind after I actually have a tiny human to carry around, though.
Our problem is more that convertible car seats stay in the car. ONE Car. Not easy to swap out or jump in a go. Always have to be the driver for group outings. Instead of just hooking the infant seat in grammas car and going.
